The golden dorado is one of the fiercest fish in water period lol. Larry’s old show was the first time I saw videos of them. Doing it with his lure is awesome, good one Ty!

Years and years back my dad and I went down to south america and spent a few weeks down there I still remember my first hook up with that fish.I was like 11 yrs. and It hit so hard I almost lost my rod .After the fish was landed I was shaking like a leaf.Will never forget the golden dorodo

That was fun ! Top water fishing is always a blast. My favorite is top water fishing for Yellowfin Tuna out of Venice , Louisiana. They hit the baits so hard that they go flying fifteen feet out of the water , doing flips. It's like someone dropoed hand grenade in the water when they hit sometimes. You should try it sometime, you'll love it.

I have like 6 whopper ploppers and never get around to using them....that is an epically huge lure. I guess when you are awesome and catch epically huge fish.....one day I hope to find the need for lure that large besides as decorations.

Ty - you need to build yourself a shadow box to showcase your trophy lures better. You could put a photo behind each hook / lure and write a short description on the back (or under) each photo to tell the story of each catch.
