  • As someone who doesn't fish, I'm impressed with the strength of the rods and lines, they just look like they should be snapping like they were nothing.

    • Modern rod to a pretty good job. But it's really the reel with controllable drag that makes catching really big ones possible. With big fish, you can't stop them from moving if they really want to, but you can wear them down. The rod it mostly there to absorb quick tugs and give some direction control. People do catch huge ones on handlines, but it takes more skill.

    • The Bible says that no one is a good person. We have all broken God's law the 10 commandments, we have all committed, lies, adultery, idolatry, and blasphemy. We deserve hell, but because of what Jesus did on the cross we can be forgiven. So if you Repent of your sins, change your wicked ways, and put your faith in Christ you will be written in the book of life. 👌 🙏Repentance is reviewing one's actions and feeling contrition or regret for past wrongs, which is accompanied by commitment to and actual actions that show and prove a change for the better........

Here are the steps below on how to get Saved! 1. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins. Thank 2. Believe that God sent His Son (Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that he rose again from the dead 3 days later. 3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for him to be your Lord and Savior forever. 4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus and Live for Him Forever. (Side note: had a friend who had a "pet" arawana in a 75 gal tank. That thing could barely turn around in it. Showed me a feed once. So fast I barely caught it but water went everywhere! Dang thing even had it's own "pet" goldfish! Wouldn't eat it but kept it for companionship! True story)

  • defintely a big boy. WHen I was fishing in Brazil in one of the Amazon tributaries, we stopped for lunch in a lagoon and one of our guides hooked into a giant. Unfortunately, it got off. We did catch catfish over 350 pounds, huge Peacocks and Pirahnas that were gigantic, including one I caught that was 7.5 pounds. Great Fish !!!!!!!!!!

  • Could you imagine if a fish this big really had some fight in it? I'm sure getting this fish to the boat was extremely tough but what if it were darting back and forth at full speed and diving with full force and jumping at every opportunity...that'd be a fight of truly epic proportions and you'd more than likely be pulled outta that little boat. Props to this fisherman and guide for being able to land this giant in a boat that size.👍👍

Wish I could have landed one of them on my trips to Suriname, but all i got was a bunch of flasheads and a 'tiny' wolffish. Super !
