  • I passed out infront of the stage at a show with disturbed, and stp. I was taken backstage and they sat me down and were checking on me and David came over and asked me if I was OK and just talked to me for a minute. It was at the end of the show and while he was talking to me everyone from disturbed and stp stopped by to see if I was OK, never will forget that. Just good people

Metal and concerts in general are hearing-killers, not to mention the lyrics to 'Down With The Sickness" which is a great tune, but not for a 12 year-olds ears. • @@stevenfunderburg1623I bet your kids are sheltered, pent up, confused, and probably honestly scared of you..... Don't take kids to enjoy a live concert? But what, watch some crap like 16 and pregnant, or Ru Paul or even the friggin news? Or, god forbid, they ever learn how to work a computer, or YOUR PHONE, and find out what's REALLY out there...... Music and the gathering of music appreciators, would be the very LAST thing to worry about. Live music has probably single handedly saved my life and kept me AWAY from trouble and negativity.....Don't shunt a child's appreciate live music or the experience of a show just because YOU are closed minded and can't see past all the scary stuff outside of your little safe space...

      @dillonhogan6125@dillonhogan61258 ай бұрын
    • @@dillonhogan6125 I didn't say every child's potential experience of a live concert should be prohibited. In this case the outcome started to go negative, (and if not for the unprecedented coolness of DAVE , NOT THE FUCKING PARENTS, it would have, period) and at that point, because of that outcome, THIS child's should have been. But yes, you stumbled on the solution to your own problem, though you and I perceive solutions and problems in reverse. I would not intentionally bring a child into this world, and certainly not a female one. Yes, I do believe that the human race is a bad idea and the best solution is to limit the spread of that cancer by any available means. Allowing well placed fear and negativity to prevent reproduction until we are all gone would be the compassionate solution, but I don't see everyone jumping on board, so the celebration of horror, war and genocidal violence will have to do. Believe me, if I get a super villains opportunity to send a Haley's size comet directly into times square, this little philosophical argument will become irrelevant seconds later. If you're breeder trash , may that decision have the most damaging, costly and horrific consequences imaginable for you, and may you be forced, before violently perishing yourself, to accept that all of it stems directly from your arrogant, narcissistic desire and confidence to look at this world, this society and instead of saying "enough is enough" , saying "let's make more of them". One way or another death and darkness will come for you, me, all parents and every last child on earth. If I weren't a coward I would just make a noose right now and laugh as I left you to it. Have a swell day 😉

  • Metal singers and musicians are the most humble and sweet natured people. I lost my mother to cancer, and shortly after I lost my father to a stroke, the only things that gave me comfort, solace and spoke to me while my family was tearing itself apart with grief were the Iowa and Slipknot albums by Slipknot and Rob Zombie's Hellbilly Deluxe and The Sinister Urge. The subject matter of Iowa in particular really summed up how I was feeling. I wrote to the record company/management of both artists......they wrote back. Rob Zombie sent a handwritten letter offering support and thanks, and he said better days are ahead, he even called me brother, while my own family were barely speaking to me. Slipknot...a BEAUTIFUL letter from Corey, just sending love and understanding, and how honoured they were that their work meant so much to a fan in an emotional situation. The whole band (Shawn, Paul, Chris, Sid, (who also drew Decepticon and Autobot logos for me, because I said I'm a Transformers fan), Craig, Mick, Joey, and Jim) signed it too (I've had the signatures checked, they're genuine). I still have them in a safe place, they are treasured. It's the pop singers who are usually crap people. With the loss of Paul Gray and Joey Jordison, the Slipknot letter has a new meaning too, I'll never part with it.

    • I can relate to the first part of that. The doctor told us to take our father home from hospital because there's nothing they could do for him; maybe 9 months to live with terminal liver cancer. Mom and I did the tough stuff that nurses and orderlies do - 9 months almost exactly. About two weeks after his passing my mother had a stroke she lived with for 2 years but her heart was gone the day he died. I'm sure that brought on the stroke; so much real love they had that anyone could see.

The guitarrist is one of the nicest and gentlest musicians I've seen live. • And he's right! When I go to concerts, being a fan of the band or the music or loving feeling the base on the ground are just excuses for me to go. The real reason is that I love being part of the crowd, the unity in it. Doesn't matter how different or similar I am with each person in the crowd. I just love that we are all there because we enjoy the music. We all leave our troubles and worries outside the venue and just enjoy the experience. I'm always physically tired after a concert but emotionally and mentally, I end up feeling lighter.

Jesus was God's son his life was blameless and yet died for our sins , he also only spoke excellent things , we must conform to the image and likeness of Jesus and his teachings in bible book Luke and we must obey them to enter paradise instead of the fire of gehenna for rebellion , not to earthly idols whether that be artists or anything more important than God. The child must have felt in her spirit that something was not right , one should not first go through the darkness to find out there's light , go straight to the light of Jesus and skip the darkness

For some reason this video clip started playing on my phone and I started to close it out but something held my finger back for a second and let me tell ya, that was the best two minutes I have spent listening to someone about us as a whole, and how we are gonna survive the chit our governments are putting us through right now, and how we are gonna prosper…… together, once we get through it but he is exactly right folks, we have got to stand UNITED and help one another no matter what music you listen too or what I listen to, we are still both human beings with feelings and dreams of success, dreams of having a partner, a home, possibly a family, certain cars, etc. Please folks, let’s continue his message and continue broadcasting it across the globe and work to love one another, help one another, etc cause without us working together, there’s no way we can defeat our governments tyranny when they come to lock us down again! They are dividing us so they can control us easier but I’m willing to protect you if you’ll help me and together we will defeat them and then we will prosper instead of them and we can continue listening to different varieties of music and respect one another and have a long & happy life!! I’ve gotta run for now tho cause I’ve gotta go pull up some Disturbed music and listen to what I’ve been missing all these years cause this guy is fantastic and everything he said is absolutely true!!!!
