    • He said afterwards that it was the first time after the pandemic that he performed in front of an audience again and how much he missed it as an artist (thats why he was so moved during the performance). So it was an easy decision for him to hop on the show.

    • @@IAmFat1968 so I had to look Michael McDonald up because I personally have never heard of him. I have to agree with you in some aspects except I think Jimmy’s voice is a tiny bit higher pitched than Michael’s is but not much. Michael’s voice has this crispy element to it that Jimmy’s voice slightly lacks. But Jimmy still has a really good singing voice. I was pleasantly surprised when he started singing. I loved it.

He had that kind of silence that you could hear a pin dropped in the audience... And you can see IT on the judges faces When James was singing.... And for that brief moment that studio was magically transformed in a Concert hall....

    • I feel for you. I came out of a very short relationship and she totally cut me off out of the blue. Was extremely painful so can't imagine what you're going. I honestly don't know how people write songs about heartbreak either. All it does is immortalise the pain. You'll never forget it, never let go. I thought about it but you can't devote so much time and emotion to something hurtful as it just keeps giving it more life. You have to totally close that chapter however long it takes. I wish for your healing.
