Thank for helping a 60 plus lady. At Lowe's watching your video. Learning to help myself.
after several videos, your was the first that actually gave me the info I needed - thanks!
Samee thank you for the great vid
Same here.
Same haha - I was too embarrassed to ask "but how do you actually put the bit on before using it" when looking at holesaw instructional videos 🙈
You deserve a beer, saved a visit to either my mental health doctor or jail, i was only familiar with the wood type, but the Milwaukee was driving me nuts going loose with the wrong arbor. Cheers and thanks
Who knew there were different kinds?!! I had to wait until the last example to find out how mine works, but this "hole" presentation was very smart, interesting, easy to follow, informative, and demonstrated beautifully! Thanks!
You are a lifesaver!!! No instructions in our menards set and your video made it all make sense.
This video was right on time for a DIY novice. Thanks brother.
I was going crazy trying to figure out how to put that thing on a drill and make a hole and thank goodness I found you. I don't work around or with tools so this was great.
Clever people who make things sound simple are the best. Thanks :)
Thank you so much for your help with this video!! As someone who sifts through countless videos on KZhead for help with various DIY projects, it is SO nice to find a video with someone who is a natural at teaching and articulating information!!
Thank you for your kind words!
Thanks to you, I now know how to work the arbor for the large hole saw. Thank you!!!
If only allllll the KZhead videos about Renos & DIYs were this helpful!! Thank you for speaking clearly, showing exactly what you are doing and being thorough.. Super helpful!
Thank you... Great video..., clear, short and to the point... Hope you make more videos for us 'joes'👏👏😊
Clear & correct! Saved my day. Best video ever.
Thank you so much! So glad I found your channel!
Thanks from Edinburgh Scotland - just about to cut a worktop need to start the corner holes with one of these 😎
Thanks! You addressed and resolved my dilemma in the first 2 minutes.
Thank you! This is exactly what I needed to see to fit my kit to my drill.
Awesome!
After spending nearly two hours getting confused about what I needed to use a holesaw on my power drill by looking on DIY store websites, this video answered all my questions. Thank you!!
Outstanding video! I bought the last one you demonstrated and couldn’t figure out how to put the drill and the 6” hole saw together. Your presentation was well done and easy to understand. Thank you very much for taking the mystery out of this.
Thank you so much for the video. I recently purchased the hole saw and had no idea how to use or assemble to use with my drill. I'm not one to shy away from using power tools. Now let me find some wood and drill a hole. Thanks again.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS VIDEO!!!!! I had not used one before and I bought the second kind but I had no idea how to attach it, ha ha ha, live and learn. I'm converting a cargo van into a campervan and I needed this tool for a couple of things in the van and finding your video was a welcomed relief. 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Excellent, first person to explain clearly and properly how this is done. I thank you.
THANK YOU!! I just bought these and had no idea how to attach. Retiring and am teaching myself how to build things. Never too old to learn more!
Thank You for explaining this Tool!!!
Thank you very much! Learning the names of these parts alone (eg mandril and arbor) is a big help to me
Thank you sir this video came in handy today 2023👍👍
Thank you!! I could not figure this out for the life of me!!! Super helpful and explained everything
A+++ . This was well thought out -- very clear for beginners with the shots you set up, and angles you showed, and the examples you gave. Bless you!
Without my arbor hole saw's user guide, I couldn't figure out how to replace the hole saw bit. I appreciate your invaluable guidance on this subject.
Ok, after watching for 2 minutes and reading first 10 comments, while waiting for a hole saw to arrive, I'm subscribing. People making instructional videos like you've done are far and few between. So glad I found you. Now I need to find instructions for drilling marble and keeping the hole saw cleaned out.
Thanks. I got one of these bits and saws as part of a kit for a rain barrel kit. Never used it before, and I didn't know it was more than one part. You were clear, and I figured it out in seconds.
Thank you! The way you laid out each type of setup and how to attach was perfect.
Thanks very much - the last one was exactly what I was hoping you’d show. Good job 👍🏻
Valuable information! I love how you addressed all the different styles of hole saws and drill/driver setup!!! Thank you so much!
Very good breakdown. You took the time to explain all the elements in a relatively concise manner. Was looking to by a hole saw bit, then was instructed that I would need an Arbour. This was my research. You made a subscriber out of me, all the way from the UK. Keep it up.
❤
Thanks! I've got various holesaws and associated accessories but was never quite sure how to use them, you've explained it all very clearly.
Thanks, man! Perfect descriptions. You’re literally saving lives, or at least fingers and hands. ✌🏻
Finally got the info needed. I needed to know how to use the second mandrel. Realized I couldn't use my impact instead of the drill and that's why it wasn't fitting.
Thanks so much Mate from the UK!😁
You are welcome. And thank you for sharing where you are in the world. Cheers!
Yes, I would never have worked out how to use the attachments on my drill without you. I was sitting and staring at it for ages! It’s great to be able to ask a friend on KZhead.
Thank you! Love straight to the instructions without all the flash and loud music of other channels. Clear visuals. Sooo helpful❤️🙏🏼
Very informative, just what I was looking for. Thank you ❤
Thanks!! Now I know mine is stuck just like yours. So I confirmed its not my problem, just a design imperfection. Thanks again
THANK YOU! I was struggling trying to figure out how the mandrel connected to my hike cutter, thanks to you I figured it out!
Awesome! Glad to help.
This was so informative and helpful! I am hoping to work with tools inherited from my dad and recently sent to me, so it was great to see if what I had was what I needed for the project *and* for the sentimental part.
THANK YOU!!! You helped me so much. I was just about in tears trying to figure out how to connect my new hole saw. Just subscribed too, looking forward to watching more of your videos
Its been years since using mine last. Thanks for reminding me about the Allen wrench to tighten the nut down. Thanks again!
Thx man now I can use the hole cutter
I’m so grateful to have found your video. Was close to returning the hole saw I’d just purchased but your video was exactly what I needed to hear (and see cause I’m super visual) what got me to feeling safe and confident in my connection was when you reiterated there’s no part that goes on the inside -and the Allen wrench. I did the thing-I felt safe -and I made my moms awesome old oak desk accessible to the outlet so its now my new work space AND I feel like a bad ass.
Really clear explanation. Thanks so much.
Thanks for puting this video, have a broader kit with drill bits, but wasn't quite sure what piece fitted on the hole saw. Nice to see the mandrel and how it fits.
Awesome instructions-thank you for explaining how things work and all of the tips. You made my day
Thank you! I've used hole saws before but couldn't for the life of me remember how to put one together. You answered my question plus gave some great advice about hand tightening.
Thank you Reno now I have retired as an hobby I have took up basic woodwork making such items as bird boxes.you have explained in a very easy way to follow thank you👌
Concise and clear. Thank you so much.
Thank you! I have used two other hole saw bit sets, but never a Milwaukee brand. We had to borrow a larger size, and I've been struggling with the set up for a half hour before finding your video. Worked a charm, thanks again!
Glad this helped!
Yes very excellent instructions. Thank you My friend
So glad I found your channel! You are now one of my favorites to watch. Very easy to follow and understand and well done. Great job. Thank you!
I needed the demonstration of the larger 6 inch one so thank you!
4 minutes into the video and I became a subscriber. Thank you
- E X C E L L E N T presentation. Info was concise, clear & thorough. BRAVO ! ! ! You get A+++++. Thanx 4 sharing.
Thank you so much for sharing the info. At 7:51 you had the answer to my Milwaukee Dozer question. Milwaukee didn't think it was necessary to include instructions with their 15 piece kit.
thankyou so much for this video , i had no idea how to put the hole saw drill together but you made it easy to understand . Thankyou
finally! someone who actually breaks it all down and shows how to use and install it and diff. types too! thank you! thx esp showing the details like the tiny side hole for an allen key and the oblong shape one -- once i separated it, i couldn't seem to figure out how to get it back on tight cuz i didn't realize the shape thing on both pieces on this one.
Great job. Thanks again. Swiftly to the point and clear. See you in another year or so.
You do a very thorough explanation I wish everybody on KZhead could take some advice from your presentation. Thanks you answered my question thoroughly.
This was exactly the explanation I needed. Thanks dude!
Thanks so much for the thorough and great demonstration/explanation.
This is EXACTLY what I needed - thanks!!
Thank you! I want to covert an old entertainment set into a cat tower and this video was very informative. I’m new to tools all around and this helped me a lot. (Specifically the different types of teeth shapes for different surfaces)
Great info. Sometimes basic information is the most valuable. Thank you, you got a new subscriber.
Thanks for taking the time to do this. You are a natural on video - great job.
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad that you found this video helpful.
Great video, I needed this! (as a complete novice, all the videos I watched instructed how to use the tool, but not actually assemble it😅) Thanks for making such quality beginner-friendly videos, I'm subscribing :D
Thank you for such great explanations. I want to drill a hole in the back of an armoire to pass cords through. I want to do it in the least complicated way and your video explained it perfectly.
Thanks very much. Just got the Lenox quick-change arbor and was wondering how it worked. Answered all my questions.
Thank you very much, very informative. Saved me having to buy a whole new set of hole saws just because I thought I was missing an installation plate, whilst in fact I don't need it. Cheers again.
Thanks for this. I have the second type which came with a dewalt drill set. Couldnt work out how the saw attached to the drill bit...didnt have a clue about the bit that screws off the mandril until I saw this!!
Very helpful, thank you very much. Subscribed. This will help get me going with sawing a hole (8.5") for a range hood (duct) installation.
Thank you, thank you! Your informative video with multiple examples is the best! Straightforward, easy to understand, love it! You have a new subscriber.
Great instructions for attaching this bit! Just bought a Ryobi kit and wondered what the heck I was supposed to do!!!
Excellent Cadence and great information. I was on the job site stuck trying to figure out that last piece that he showed. Thankfully, I now got all that done. Sadly, that means I stayed at work a few extra hours, everything's got a trade off
You saved me so much time, thanks.
Thank you sir! Keep em coming!

Thanks friend hadn’t needed to use a hole saw for years. Much appreciated Cheers from Kent England
You bet
Thank you so much. I know that it is March 2022, but your demonstration was awesome. I bought a "flipped house" which required many repairs. Love the fact that you used correct terms as mandrel. God bless you for taking the time to help "DIY's.
Thanks this was very helpful . Went to home Depot and i was lost lol ! Great Video and Thanks again.
I appreciate this video. I need to drill a couple holes and this taught me about a mandrel!
Just what I needed to know, thank you!
Cheers for the tips. Figured It all out now :)
To release the hole saw from the mandrel when it seems stuck, I chuck the quick connect end in my vise and use a wrench to loosen nut, quick and easy. Good video
Thank you. Great video. I got everything I needed. You are a great teacher!!!
