After a lot of discussion from my original video about drilling concrete we decided to make another one. We have came up with a better way of doing it now.

Thanks a lot my dude. I needed to bore a hole to install my AC and now it looks clean ☺️
You’re humorous at the same time informative, A Nobel prize 😀😀 ?
Beee-rilliant! Thank you!
You bet!
I was using this drill for mixing mud and stud drills. Thanks for enlightening me to this new application.
This thing is awesome. I’m surprised that it’s as affordable as it is for what your getting.
Thanks for the demonstration 👍🏿
Your welcome
The plug and tapcon is great idea. Thanks
Appreciate the comment
What specific dewalt tool you used? I want to make a hole out of a 7 inch thick concrete for cctv wiring.
Great video is this the same method to use on a 7” thick wall?
Hi. Where did you get the bits...? Thanks!
Very good technique!
Glad you like it!
Who makes the dry core bits you use in your videos
Well done sir !
Thanks
There are also center bits you can get, that made of 2 crossbars that fit in your drill, with a center bit on it. For the same purpose, but no wood needed ;-)
Smooth move!
Nice
Superb hand work 👍 good
Thank You….😀
Brilliant!👍
Thank You
Good advice❤
Appreciate it
What's the brand of core bit that you use? I see a LOT of core bits advertised, but a LOT of them say "do not use on concrete". I have to bore a 2.5" hole in concrete to install a fence door post support. Can these bits be used on concrete? What brand are they, and where did you get them? I want to bore a 2.5" hole, go down about 2 feet past the edge of the concrete wall footer, install a 2.5" diameter post shell that goes from the surface down into the ground, and then install a 2" fence post that can rotate, while carrying the fence gate, into the sleeve pipe I installed through the concrete.
great idea!
Thank You
Good idea!
Nice work
Appreciate it
That's a beautiful hole brother
These little things in life sure can make you happy. Some one might say it’s “Just a hole” but it’s a hole in stone or concrete 😀
Great Technique .......
Thanks!
Thank you, this will help ..
You're welcome!
Really nice idea! I would use a larger sds bit (3/16 x 12), It will break the other side, but just a little bit, then the plywood and the tapcon. Thanks!, Sorry for my english.
Appreciate the comment.
Your a genious
Winners!
I’ll take it
Can we use the core bit on a regular drill to do a hole in concrete? Or is it necessary to use a hammer drill? I need to make a hole for my kitchen sink drain 😩 Newbie with tools 🤷♀️
Regular drill is just fine.
@@campbellbuilt thank u for responding so fast 😊 happy holidays
Hi I'm looking for a bit set like that 4 inch and 2incn one you have Tha long one
eBay or Amazon
Its called a Core Drill Block.
8m new at this so I may be wrong but I know you can get break out with carbide core bit in hammer mode. But why would you get break out with a diamond core bit that's not hammering? Thanks.
Typically both sides of the block wall or concrete will be visible to the eye. I want a super clean hole for that reason since there’s no good way to repair damage after the fact. Yes your right about not using hammer mode and being better for break out but concrete is a funny thing. Block is especially susceptible to break out regardless of how your drilling. Good question.
How to make a 4inch hole in a exsisting 3 inch hole in wall brick wall, can you double stack the hole saws?
No, there’s a couple solutions. 1st would require two wood hole saws. Cut a plug out of a 2x6 using both a 3” and 4” wood hole saw bits. Attach both wood plugs together and use that to temporarily get your 4” started. 2nd is us the method in my other video kzhead.info/sun/eK6hcqmDmoWYnWg/bejne.html
Will it cut through asphalt?
Oh yahhh. With ease.
If did this on my job I would fire him. I’m an electrical contractor, everyone has proper tools on the truck or at shop. Plus it took way too long to lay out, I could have drilled 20 holes. They make dry core and wet bits that makes it simple
Okay 🤣🤣🤣
please don't waste the viewer's time with talking about your yard when they're here about coring
Please leave
I bet your yard hates you! 🤣
He did it the hard way there is an easier way to do this
Okay, now show us 😀
Guess he don't like his eyesight.. most important thing to do is protect that!
