This week at the cottage, Tracy & Tony work out the layout for the new kitchen, but with it being make for another kitchen it may be a little tricky. Terry gives Tracy some tips for doing her first bit of glazing and tackles the bathroom door, from cutting the glass to frosting the glass, and puttying it in the door.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Just a suggesion: think about condensing as many of your videos, throughout the process, onto a DVD, or such, and put it/them into the time capsule. Imagine what future generations will think when they see all of the amazing, hard, fantastic work all of you have done. What an accomplishment. Lovely work; start to finish. Congratulations to all.

I keep saying it but Tracy is an inspiration to everyone. "There is no such thing as 'can't'" my father used to say to me and my sisters. "You don't know what you can achieve until you try." Well done again team and looking forward to the completed kitchen.

It truly is amazing how many skills you have all developed working on each project, with amazing outcome. There are days I am in awe with the copious amounts of details that needs to be included with each job as well. Top all that with being able to do it with family, friends and love, is truly a blessing.

The door is an amazing transformation. I'm so excited to hear that you are months ahead of schedule. Tracy, I'm sure you are excited to have a full working kitchen again. While watching tonight, I began thinking about how long it's been since Tony delighted me with an enthusiastic "crack on!" No sooner had I begun waxing over it, he teased me with a "Let's get cracking!" Close enough for now. 🥰 Really, there was an ear to ear smile. Thanks Tony for that. watching you do your windows took me back to my childhood, helping my father with the putty. I was 9 years old. He said I had the perfect size fingers to get the job done. 😊 I love watching your family and all your hard work.

Looking at the front if the cottage, it would be really beautiful if you added a patio with a open slated patio cover. You could then grow climbing vines or roses over it for shade. Also the smell would be lovely.

Great bathroom finish on the door! Love what you are doing to the kitchen walls and setup of furniture.
Pumpkin Soup Recipe Cook 1t coriander 1 t Cummin 1 t Curry pdr. 1 t Tumeric with a little oil Add stock 1ltr. And cubed pumpkin. Cook 20 mins. Take off excess liquid. (Keep for next brew) Add 1 small tin coconut milk. Grate a dash of ginger. Whizz. Enjoy.🥰 (Add spare liquid if needed.

Our antique bathroom we used an oval glass window on top pocket door. Designed a acid etched picture of a vase of flowers on one side and totally acid etched other side so nothing visible from each side!! I used contract paper to make my design. Whole bathroom used antique fixtures which complements our victorian home! Love all you are doing to bring your Chateau back to full glory!!! Toodles!!

I've started watching you and your family because who doesn't dream of owning a Chateau in France. I know I do. But the relationship between Mother and Son has captured my heart and now I see the other Mother with her beautiful birthday gifts. My Son and I have an amazing relationship and I am so blessed. Now to the moment you cried about the wall falling down. I fell in LOVE with your amazing caring personality and when Mum hugged you I became a huge fan of your entire family. And so now I will watch and dream of flying over the pond and helping out for a short visit and get to know you all in person. I can help out with whatever your currently working on.
