There is actually a texture pack named "Bare Bones" it looks EXACTLY like the trailers! I also recommend adding some shaders

With how long it takes for Mojang to get these updates out, you would expect them to add more.
This is a gigantic franchise, so it's understandable.
They also got to make the same update 3 times
They have to add it to multiple versions and they take time to make sure its good

These features are part of the 1.20.5 update (at least that's the update number for Java Edition), which adds the armadillos and wolf armor, but the update mainly focused on a lot of behind-the-scene stuff for optimization, bug fixes, and overhauling the NBT system for map makers and data pack creators. So while to the average player it seems small, there was a lot they were working on under the hood of the game (plus there's still the 1.21 update that's still in development with auto-crafters, trial chambers, etc.).
Finally we can get officially what we had 10 years ago with mods

So glad I figured out how to mod Java. Because I can literally go to Java edition and play a more fun version of Minecraft than having one mob added per update. I would have liked to see the crabs and penguins be added in, but because the vote was entirely rigged for Armadillos, we can say goodbye to those hopes and dreams. Especially since crabs would have gave us another fish related food source and we could have had more crafting recipes for crab meat like crab cakes or even a crab based weapon or even something that would aid in getting things from a far distance. Penguins? I mean. Come on. Their penguins. They're cute and would give Polar Bears a different mob to focus on when exoloring the Arctic biomes. But no, we get Armadillos. Just them. With only one crafting recipe for wolf armor. When mods gave more recipes for Armadillo hide and carapaces.

They have to be money laundering at Mojang. There's no other explanation for why updates take so long and have so little content.
They're actively working on a huge update. You can play the snapshots with (almost) weekly updates on pc

The amount of things in this dev cycle alone spans over 100 pages in a google docs only on what they did for Java, and that doesn't even count bugfixing.

Hey so since Armadillos now exist in Minecraft. I now wonder when we will get something for Dillon's Rolling Western by Hal in the next few years.
That was the game I played last evening that I managed to download it off my Windows 11. With the Windows 7 or 8 MS Version. Sadly though it was a Demo and it had lots of restrictions. You could not change your skin. Your Skin you play with in the Demo is a Completely different Character rather than being forced to stay stuck as Steve or Alex in the Demo. I remembered in the Past back in Middle School when I could install Minecraft I was permanently stuck as Steve. And as I could in your Switch Version. But it looks like in the Demo you are permanently stuck as someone else instead of being permanently stuck as Steve in the Demo instead of 2 restriction options to switching between Steve or Alex. Also when you begin the Demo on your Windows 11 or whatever Windows you have. The Minecraft World you are in has a Time limit to 1 Hour and 40 Minutes. Also I wasn’t able to switch to Creative Mode like I could back in Middle School back then it was free to install. Or like I could on the Nintendo Switch Version letting me. I was permanently stuck in Survival Mode. If I want to change my Skin and the Mode I would have to bought the Game. I haven’t yet on my Windows 11 the also reason why I got on Windows 11 is because in the Nintendo Switch Release you can not join Custom Severs like Block City or one of your best Streamers is in. You can also not put in your Custom Skin from Photos or Files in too as it’s impossible to save it to your Nintendo Switch Picture Album. You can only choose or make a pre made not a different character from your album or files. For making Custom Skins on your Computer, Phones, and Tablets are a breeze cause you can use that Custom Skin.
I’m not really sure how to go from Windows 8 to Windows 10 because buying a new PC or Laptop is too expensive.
