  • Check for your extruder, what is the maximum temperature, the fan still can cool the extruder, for prusa 40 degrees, then you have to cool down the enclosure.9open doors). PLA petg printing the doors need to be open, it gets to hot inside. Make extra holes to ad slow fans, or vents.

  • Thanks for doing an awesome review! This is a pretty cool enclosure. Always enjoy the videos! Very informative. I’m currently using my Ender 3 v2 printer for volunteering my services that go to the pediatric hospital that I work at. I work with our child life specialists and getting prizes through volunteer services has been pretty hard over the past year and a half. Most prizes are coming from employees paychecks voluntarily to keep on providing optimal care and reward. Resources get cut, employees get overworked and I’m using my printer for printing gifts for kiddos who are able to get procedures done when sometimes their diagnosis isn’t the best. I work in MRI and often make fidget toys to get patients through their exam and since no metal is allowed in MRI, 3D models make for the perfect alternative. These kids are brave, resilient, and covid has hit the pediatric world in a way that no one anticipated. I would definitely use the enclosure to expand the types of prizes that I could print due to being able to control the print environment. Thanks again for your videos and helping the community!

  • I had to laugh after watching the entire video. Why? Because you never talked about "WHY" an enclosure is needed! You never showed improved results of a 3D print. no physical examples of the benefits of an enclosure. I'm betting most people who buy and/or assemble an enclosure for their 3D printer is bragging rights. Yes, 3D Printing Nerd, Joel Telling, is correct in his assessment of heat being the major cause of failure of an enclosed 3D printer. Seems the only one benefiting from an enclosure are the manufacturers of enclosures. BTW, want an inexpensive way to fry your power supply and enclose your 3D printer? Walmart has "large" carboard boxes ($1.50) which cover the entire printer, minus a filament spool. I have one and use it ONLY for after my printer cools down, which protects the printer from dust.

    @vegasvideoguy@vegasvideoguy2 жыл бұрын
    • You must not be a very smart guy. The first 1min of the video talks about "why" also said that I myself don't need it, and won't use it. The main point of the video was just to show off the enclosure, and give one away to my subscribers. I'm sorry you're too dumb to understand that. Have a good day my friend.

      @509drone2@509drone22 жыл бұрын
    • Kevin talked about the ability to customize this in order to get the board and psu out of the enclosure. You clearly didn’t watch and you’ve clearly never printed ABS. Kick rocks troll.
