  • Gonzaga being so good isn't surprising to diehard college basketball fans. Those of us who just love watching college ball know that Gonzaga is always a problem and that they've been good for years under Mark Few. I do hope to see this team go undefeated and i'm not even a Zags fan but it is a fun team to watch. Edit: Im a Tar Heel fan btw.

    • I understand that Gonzaga does not recruit like UK or Duke, but their whole roster is filled with top 100 players, and they have actually out-recruited UK for players like Nolan Hickman and Hunter Sallis. Despite being just outside of the top 10, Suggs was clearly the best college b-ball PG in 2021. Another misunderstanding about GU is that they recruit internationally cuz they cannot get top preps in the U.S. It's just easier to land top 50 level players like Joel A. overseas than to battle Duke and UK for some dude from St. Louis. But I get your general point. I am just trying to address these are not mid major players. They are high, high major guys.
