The problem with trying to stop Zags is that all of them can score lot of points so other teams can't focus on one player from Zags & even if some of the Zags starters on 7 man rotation have a bad shooting game Mark Few can use other bench players plus I really think suggs can take over a game by himself if he wanted to but Zags play as a team & play good defense down the stretch go Zags
@@geno1825 exactly, Nembhard is probably the 5th option offensively and can get 30 any given night. Suggs impresses me the most. A guy that will probably be a top 5 pick and doesn’t gaf and makes plays on both ends. He took 7 shots. Such an unselfish team.

From Spokane and been a Zags fan my whole life. Not the biggest or most athletic team we ever had but in 20 years never seen a team so in sync as this year. Only team that stands a chance is Michigan.

I think the NCAA should keep this format and play all games in one city. Move it around to all cities. Maybe next year, Miami, then Atlanta, then L.A., then Dallas, etc. That would cut down on travel expenses.
Those cities get Superbowls lets share the wealth and support smaller cities and markets that host first round games. Spread the wealth and support more economies. Spokane, Boise, Greensboro, Portland, Salt Lake, Nashville, Memphis, OKC, Cleveland etc. All were great hosts.

LOL, dude, Gonzaga plays top teams in their non-conference schedule all the time and they play toe to toe with every single one of them and beat a good number as well. Just a side bar, the phrase "every single year", heavily implies that we are not just speaking about this current season. Still with me? Good! Now, Gonzaga's program has been one of the top in the country every single season for about 20 years. They've made elite 8's, they've made final fours, they've even made the championship game. Along the way in all of these tournaments, they've beaten good teams from "major conferences". Do you think this is their first season being a great team or something? You have to be the most casual college "fan" in the country to still think Gonzaga wouldn't still be a great team in a bigger conference. Congrats on being stuck in 2007 I guess??

As zags fan who watches all their games for over 20 years i will say this. At some point suggs need to play better than 6 assists and 6 turnovers. He has been better about committing dumb fouls. I have always said andrew nembard is better in halfcourt offense than suggs as seen in this game. 7-9 from field with 8 assists and only 1 turnover. Andrew isn't the defender suggs is though. The starting 5 today is near impossible to defend b/c of spacing issues. However, they can be scored on. When they bring watson off the bench they way better on defense. Even cook the 4th guard is good defender, but like watson make the zags easier to defend on offensive end. It's always a trade off. I noticed USC has taj eaddy as starting guard who scored 20 against oregon. He is transfer from the WCC vis santa clara. The only bummer for me is i have live fantasy baseball draft during zags vs USC game. Like i say manage fouls and low turnovers, make ft's, protect 3 pt line esspecially when ahead in a game. 3 pt shooting is always an X factor. Go Zags!

Simply no chance for Creighton in this one - total mismatch. Wasn't even as close as the final score - Gonzaga would have won by 30+ if they hadn't called off the dogs in the last few minutes.
