  • I like how Jay Bilas talked about how everyone says the WCC is a weak conference and that is how Gonzaga gets to the tournament. Once Gonzaga gets to the tournament and reels off wins every year the talk about their weak opponents goes out the window. There are lots of conferences that are weaker than the WCC, why cant a team from those conferences consistently win and get into the tournament? Why can't a good power conference team that consistently makes the tournament win in the tourney like Gonzaga does. When the only argument becomes "well they haven't won a national championship yet" you know the fan bases that keep repeating that wish they had a team like Gonzaga to root for!

    • So why do they play a tournament? You don't need faith to think they can win a tournament. A lot of things have to happen. They are consistently here and consistently have a chance. Their odds go up every time. There are a number of teams that haven't "gotten over the hump". Like the commentors said there are big storied programs that haven't even made a final 4. Or peopele make it in one or two times and thats it. Then they don't even makee a tournament. They are usually missing a piece or two. They are consistently getting more athletic. This team has a top level guard and a good front court. Its all about matchups. Usually Gonzaga is missing a piece.

  • NOTE To PODCASTERS, what is more remarkable is how you keep pimping for the SEC and the Big 10 each year and each year most of their teams lose in the first round. ACC each year proves to be the best conference and you never mention it or show the graph. Think you are just shills for Fake ESPN.

I see Purdue making a big statement all year long, they too are peaking: We cannot forget Creighton either.
