  • I remember a interview Mark Few did years ago after he turned down the UCLA job. Interviewer asked about the money he was offered. He said " they offered me so much money my grandchildren's grandchildren would never have to work" followed by "you can't fly fishing in the L. A. River". A truly great man.

  • Purdue Fan Here- I think Coach Few is one of coolest & greatest coaches in the country. If my boilers were to lose to The Zags I’d tip my cap and root em on! Can’t wait til Friday Night! Good luck Coach! And to Gonzaga fans…don’t ever take this man for granted! 🏀

    • What a great comment, thank you. Purdue looking fabulous this year! Trust me, we LOVE Mark Few here in Spokane and truly appreciate him. Spokane is a loyal place, and I'm saying this as a Seattleite who has lived all over the country. Few does this job for a school of 4,500 students and a budget to match; he's a magician to do what he does year after year.

    • @@pamclare6222 I’ve like Few for decades now, and I respect the coaches who aren’t smug and arrogant about their successes. From day one he’s acted like he’s been there before, and he realizes that it’s the players, not him, that deserve so much of the limelight. There are great coaches who don’t understand that. He and Painter do. Good luck Friday!! We’re so close!!!

    • @@JustUsZags509 appreciate you!! It takes too much work and energy to be negative. All the negativity and hate that my Boilers get is so dumbfounding to me. Painter is a selfless coach who would rather talk all post game press conference about his opponents and opposing coaches. Our players are like other teams players…just kids trying to figure everything out. And they are so likable, especially Edey! He will stay after practices and games until the last fan snaps a selfie and gets their autograph. I bet Gonzaga is the same way! I’ve watched hours of Gonzaga video this week. Your players are a reflection of your coach. If we lose to them there will zero shame. Good luck Friday!! It’s almost here!

  • Differences between Edey and Clingan,,, Edey a Sr., big strong, shoots foul shots well, and has a soft touch around basket! Clingan a Soph., big strong, shoots foul shots well, and has a soft touch around the basket! So between UCONN and Purdue its not the centers where Purdue 'usually' has the big edge, its the supporting players, and UCONN has superior surrounding players!
