    • He mainly started advocating because of all the criticism over him neglecting the problems and just showing pretty pictures. Eco-pornographer they called him....and the plans he is now advocating to save nature are totally silly. Great documentary maker and biologist though and he should probably just stick with that.

This wonderful man has tought millions of children, teenagers, adults and old ones a lot about our beautiful planet and its flora and fauna. I am still amazed and greatful to hear this man and become every single time a child. If someone would ask me, a personal trainer and nutrition coach, who his biggest hero and idol is, it is this man. Was my childhood hero and still is today. Thank you Sir David for all the beauty, joy and knowledge you brought to us.

We had a public library across the road from the Kimberley Club made famous by C. J. Rhodes. They would show nature films there during the school holidays. These were B&W mostly. I remember listening to David Attenborough say that quite possibly we would never know the extent of the incredible creatures living in the Amazon, the Congo, Borneo etc That perhaps we might never penetrate the depths of these vast jungles. And here we are - 50 years later, 8+ billion human destructive virus's destroying everything that we see & touch & can influence through our greed & uncontrolled breeding. 3.6 billion of us in 1970.... 8.1 billion of us in 2024.... What a delightful species we are!
