Those hyenas looked like they were mocking the lion by laughing at him and playing around, not attacking immediately but teasing him and making him feel the terror and horror before it actually coming down at him. The way that other lion came and hushed them away and consoled him and they both just kinda hugged and layed there feeling grateful for each other🤍

    @ansarihajra9035@ansarihajra9035 Жыл бұрын
    • For us humans they may sound like they're laughing and mocking the lion but they're actually dead serious about killing that lion. Those sounds are not laughing sounds, those are their means of communication. Not only he was a threat that invaded their space, he was also big enough to feed the whole pack if they managed to kill him. Their bite strength is insane but they're still individually weaker than lions, hence they used their number to tire him down. They only truly attacked if one of their own was bitten by the lion to save their comrade. The pair of lion brothers was really touching that I teared up, but when I think about it hyenas are actually amazing as well. I'm really sad now because I read in the comment here that the lions were reported to be missing last year and presumed dead, idk the cause but perhaps they failed to claim their own pride.

You can clearly see that the lion being attacked is much older, skinnier, and its mane is darker. I think this scene was edited to present a happier ending than what perhaps may have ended occuring. Apologies for the buzzkill but I really dislike it when documentaries treat us as if we aren't old enough to know it's a jungle out there.

    • @@mlogical4099 Nah not really. I read that once a filming crew waited like 3 months just to see a special species of a bird do a mating dance. And to get those background shots where the sun sets in like the best way possible, they have to wait a long time as well. There's just so much patience put into this that when we see it and its all edited, we think its fake cuz it looks to good.

  • Why is no one talking about how that penguin and seal just had a whole ass conversation. It felt more like the seal telling the penguin to be more careful. If you watch, the seal never really actually tries to eat it, it seems almost as if it was playing chase. Even when it seemed like it was trying to bite it, it moved really slowly and gently. I really wanna know what these animals were thinking here.
