For an animal to just lay over, onto its side where it’s vulnerable. That is one special symbiotic relationship.

Tout simplement
Absolutely incredible. The intelligence displayed by both species to recognize each other as beneficial rather than a threat or competition, must have formed over such an incomprehensible amount of time. I can’t even imagine how it started. Did the Warthog ancestor notice the Mongoose ancestor ate ticks, or did the Mongoose ancestors just steal ticks off the Warthog ancestors and run away before being attacked, until the Warthogs just gave up and let them take the ticks?
Yeah nature is crazy
And humans are stuck in the ego power issues and no love for each other just jealous and hate
God put that knowledge in them when He created them
@@user-yf3fq2bh6p Why did he create the ticks? Wouldn't that have been an easier solution?
@@drunkenhobo5039 nature changed after man fell and lost image of God, every creature was given a way to survive until their lord- man recovers his lost image. I wanna say that I believe that ticks and other parasitic and carnivorous animals were (before sin) and will be (after Second Coming of Christ) different, in a way that their existence wont depend on hurting other animals. They will be fed and loved by man, and will never feel pain or die. Until then, God, who loves all of them equally, gave them the order on how to survive and this video is a beautiful example of one order given to two different species.
I can only imagine the relief it felt having so many ticks on you and then having them removed must feel unbelievable

The symbiotic relationship of animals fascinates me. Simply amazing
it's very rational. I guess that's why humans don't often have them with other humans - we are not purely physically rational; we have other stakes than that (which is ironic, considering how many humans are driven by sex primarily)
@@johnjeffers1524 wait what? humans are the most cooperative species of all.
@@jamesliggins891 You will find alot of self hating humans in animal video comment sections. They seem to think that it makes them better people.
The odd part is yea they are cleaning ticks, but it is the warthogs blood engorging the ticks that they are really after. Evolution will lead them to get it more efficiently in future generations. Enjoy the "symbiotic style" relations now.
@@tahjsimon9058 indeed I think they better suicide instead of living as human 😗

It's fantastic! How relaxed the warthog gets, falling to sleep during the spa treatment!
It was funny the way the hog just dropped to the ground.
Love the interaction between species. Just because they're significantly different doesn't mean they can't benefit from each other.
It’s nice to see nature displaying mutualism
Where is survival of fittest
They fit pretty well I would say.
@@Maolana_ModiG 'survival of the fittest' refers to competition within members of the same species for the most success producing healthy offspring. Warthogs and mongeese aren't competing with each other BUT individuals of both species will probably, on average, fare better in life (i.e. be 'fitter') if they take advantage of this mutual feeding/cleaning relationship.
@@Maolana_ModiG it's' fit' as in fits well into the environment the creature lives in, making fit as in healthy If the creature is fit in that way and is so more likely to survive and have offspring, those offspring will (generally) inherit the characteristics that mean they fit in and are fit and healthy too. They then pass their genes on too.
@@Maolana_ModiG Survival of the fittest is for the ticks at that moment. Or the warhog that didnt get to remove their ticks so they perform worse everyday. Or the Mongoose that didnt get to eat much tick because of the competition.
