My dad had a mongoose, when he was in vietnam. Had it so when he slept, it would protect him. Only thing, is you can't give it to someone else. Once it bonds with you, it won't for others.
Yes. I had rescued many mongese in India. Loyal as dogs, ferocious as a honey badger, cuddly as a cat, and curious as a monkey. Great pets.

Love this!! We humans can learn so much from animals and the natural world. We are actually rearing two banded mongoose at the moment here at our home in Lake Kariba, Zimbabwe. Their names are Thelma and Louise. Two sisters. They are the sweetest, most affectionate and loving creatures you can imagine ❤🐾. We hope they can find a wild pack to join up with.
