The tournament takes place for the 143rd time and is the fourth and final Grand Slam of the year. Last year, Spain's Carlos Alcaraz and Poland's Iga Swiatek claimed the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first US Open title, with Alcaraz winning his first Grand Slam title and Swiatek winning her third Grand Slam title. can we give some due credit to the US open for giving us 25-30 min videos of recent games, not 2 minute highlights like other tournaments do.
they're also uploading some full matches already!!!
AGreed!
yes yes we can
Yes, especially since ESPN pulled their feeds from Spectrum cable service in middle of a night match! Also ESPN tends to not show match in entirety interrupting or switching to commercial or interview during crucial match points
Je suis d'accord toi On devrait avoir que des Extended
What a heart Evans has shown us on this match! He fought a honorable fight, heart of a warrior
I think you have watched an entire different match: there was no fight😂😂😂😂 It was an embarrasing monologue
@@Luchon20082010lock up your mouth you f00l
@Luchon20082010 pretty sure calling a 4 setter a monologue is an oxymoron
@@simiuciacia Watch the match, you haven’t certainly watched it Alcaraz lost one set due to his errors, EVEN IN THAT SET HE DESTROYED EVANS WINNERS AND PERFORMANCE WISE 😂😂😂😂
@@Luchon20082010evans played terrible and still got set, alcaraz isn’t a saint
Man Alcaraz is just the best creation tennis has made
What an entertaining match!!! Highlights all around! Both attacking the net, no boring baseline rallies. Both showcasing their repertoire of shots. Brilliant!
mainly because their styles contrast so much. Evans could not really do serve-n-volley but instead Carlos did some, because he dominated the rallies so much. Also many changes from slice to topspin, which makes tennis always interesting
@@Alexander-dt2eq great reading your knowledge. To some of us its a green ball going back and forth. Thanks
US Open at another level
@@Alexander-dt2eq Can i ask your opinion on Alcaraz next match and do you think he can handle this years Zverev? I was talking about it with a friend. My feeling is Carlos has improved since they played last etc ?
@@drstew1 sure he can handle Zverev. Zverev need his best day to even have a chance... but sadly he will be a little bit exchausted... Alcaraz can always push to 5 sets against anybody, but he will be fresher in a 5h set than Zverev (after his 4h40 on court yesterday). So i give Zvereve 2% winning chance ;))
Carlito’s dropshots are sick!! 😮👏🏼
Some of Carlos Alcaraz's shots were so incredible I could hardly believe what I was seeing.
One of the most entertaining matches in this slam
Alcaraz gotta be one of the best half volleys we’ve seen
This is the one match from this year's tournament that I would like the US Open to post (the full match) on KZhead. This a a fan friendly match because of all the exciting points and player reactions. It's nice to see the extended highlights, anyway.👍
Evo has grown to become one of my all time fav players on tour. His backhand slice is one of the best shots in tennis, truthfully!
There were so many great things in this match, but they were all made even better by Mary Carillo just cracking up in awe as Carlos did one amazing thing after another. I was super impressed at the patience Carlos showed in so many rallies.
that was not mary
Thought it was a man?
This was a thing of beauty!
Love how Evans is sitting there dumbfounded by Carlos’s shots when he’s blatantly dealing with a superior athlete.
i love that he wears his emotions on his sleeves.
Alcarez with the dopest outfit in the tourney.
Charlie Alcatraz putting them all in jail 😂
Evans fights for his life, it's great to see
nothing stopping alcaraz now! the guy on fire
Poor Evans, he left it all on the court though.
An Alcaraz like this can only be defeated by Alcaraz and no one else
Evans looking at Carlitos like he was Jesus turning water into wine 😂
Best match i’ve seen in ages. Proper tennis as it should be. Evans put up an amazing fight but far out, Alcaraz is unstoppable!!
Alcaraz is a joy to watch! 😂
Danny playing some solid tennis - but it's Alcaraz on the other side
obsessed with their slice-offs
Thank you US Open for allowing us to watch such great videos of the games 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
This guy's level is mind blowing
So many aspects of this match reminds me so much of the Federer-Santoro night match several year back.
Great to hear Mary Carillo again!
stop spoiling matches with the winner on the thumbnail pretty please
Great match from Carlos 👏❤️
VAMOS!!😅
That man has hands like friggin’ butter!
Алкарас алға!
US Open highlights another level out of all tournaments no question
DAN EVANS YOU BEAST
My KING CARLITOS💕 is WORLD CLASS 👌🏾‼️ KARIN♥️
Carlos your matches are spectacular,Congrast,
Why are you not posting this full match??
Wish I could watch it live. Spectrum is only option where I am. Thanks, Disney.
Vpn brother
He has impressive physique
Evans take a bow!
Two creative geniuses at work
Qué monstruo!!!! 🐂
I haven't seen a pro player rely so heavily on the slice backhand since Steffi Graf.
Super match for Alcaraz 🇪🇦💪 I don't think it's stoppable for now., Come on Alcarax 🔝🎾
How should they play with the contrast between light and shadow?
he has unbelievable forehands 💪
@27:19 After the 47th drop shot of the match, Evans had no legs left. Brutal! 😁😁
Mostro!!
Unfortunately we would not see a Fed Alcaraz. Alcaraz is outstanding, but Federer… was something else.
Why us this not in 1080p?????
It says 720p, but it looks like 480p at most. Don't know what's going on with the cameras, but it's only in this match
The scary thing is that even now, at the beginning of his career, Alcaraz is in some ways already better than Nole and Rafa. (I ask myself: how can Alcaraz develop, since he seems to have no weaknesses now?) His smash is better than Novak's and he's also a little faster than both of them (as I remember them from 2011 onward) I should add that he returns better than Rafa ever did, his return being roughly equal to Novak's. Bottom line: he's already very much their equal (and I'm thinking about those 2 greats between 2011-2019). His mental toughness matches theirs as well. Novak can beat him, but it would be a coin toss, as far as I'm concerned.
I think over the next couple of years he will still get a little better. Mostly his serve should get a bit faster with better placement and he will make less unforced errors.
As he matures and develops more consistency should reach awesome levels, a developing genius talent
@ckanze4748 yup I expect next year for the serve to get better and for him to have a 90 to 91% service games for the year
16:32 best point 😂
Mr. Slice had no chance
Even though Alcaraz tends to win most of the time, he does it with an element of doubt?
GGWP from Evan.
Why this guy shouts at the very moment the opponent makes his return? Why not regulate this behavior?
Such a devastating destruction😱😱😱😱 Almost 3 times the numbers of winners, which means to sum up: Almost all points from Alcaraz: Winners Almost all points from Evans: error from Alcaraz😂 I wonder how evans managed to get to win three matches
1hbh players are so elegant. 2hbh not elegant at all.
Bring simona halep back...stop this unfair treatment WTA
Alcazar is stronger and higher accuracy
alcaraz lol
Ok
I only see Sinner threatening Alcaraz on his side. I still see Alcaraz coming through though, in 4 sets. Djokovic will have trouble against Tiafoe but he’ll beat him, in 4 or 5 sets. Alcaraz will defeat Djokovic in the final in 3 or 4 sets. This will be the true beginning of the end of Djokovic. Alcaraz from now on will be the favorite to win every tournament. Djokovic is older and has less of a complete game and chokes a-lot when he plays against Carlos. I see Alcaraz dominating Djokovic in the Final unfortunately, so no 5 set epic that everyone was hoping for, no repeat of Cincinnati.
Zverev will eliminate Sinner and help Alcaraz to go to his second straight US open final.
This did not age well. Djokovic vs Medvedev for the title , may the longest rally win
Alcaraz is so powerful, but if he plays with that strenght he will have many injuries. He should play slower and bring the matches to the 5th set as Novak does. Novak is like the cat against the mouse; he let the opponent play and win 1 or 2 sets and then he attacks that mouse and wins the battle
Djokovic is coming
I think that if he made an effort, Alcaraz could dress even worse
Alkaraz use 💉💊💊💊
Your evidence? Right, you have none.
And not Toiletovic ?
If I were him,,,, just punch at Alcaraz's face once and leave the court...He is in the another level now.
It should be illegal to try and injure your opponent in tennis. But I guess there’s no way to prove you did it on purpose 😢
