Russian Su-25 destroys fortified positions and equipment of Ukrainian army
Russian Defence Ministry released footage showing Su-25 aircraft performing a combat mission on Monday. Location has not been disclosed.
Footage shows engineering and technical staff preparing combat vehicles for takeoff and Su-25 pilots completing tasks.
"In the course of the combat mission the pilots of an attack aircraft, who were operating at extremely low altitudes, launched rocket air strikes on fortified positions, equipment and weapons of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Missile launches were carried out in pairs from low altitudes. In order to counter enemy’s defence systems, the pilots fired off heat traps and performed anti-missile manoeuvring," press-service of the Defence Ministry said.
The ministry noted that the combat mission was completed successfully.
The Ukrainian side has not published any corresponding statements so far.
Moscow launched a military offensive on Ukraine in late February after recognising the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics' independence (DPR and LPR).
Kiev has denounced the Russian offensive into its territory, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky imposed martial law throughout the country, announcing a general mobilisation.
During recent peace talks, Russia has required that Ukraine declares itself officially a neutral country, providing guarantees that it will never join NATO.

may i ask why it only carries 8 rockets? the rocket pods arn't even fully loaded and the su25 can carry much more. seems not very economical, fuel are not cheap and each battle run takes time, what if they miss? what if target not fully destroyed? can some one in military please educate me? thanks.
They can run of diesel so fuel isn’t a issue prolly just don’t wanna risk losing munition on high risk missions so they Cary only what they need

Where is the video of russians destroying Ukrainian fortified positions and equipment? All I saw was a jet fire between 2 to 6 rockets. Didn't see any impacts or explosions - you usually see those when equipment gets blown up. 😂
