  • Ok, so my Dad past away years. Defiantly my greatest hero. He was a mans dad if ya know what I mean. Don't have nothing from my dad but a few photos. 1 day at my moms, helping in her yard I tipped over a tarp and here lies this same boat. Was my dads dream to fix this boat but he always poured money into us. So here lies my journey this time to fix this boat, I know he will be here fixing it with me!!!! Now to save some dam money!!! 4 kids are draining, same battle, but I will over come!!!

You would never get a factory made boat of similar build/quality for double that! AND they have the economies of scale in buying bulk products! If you had Nate build the actual hull as well, I’m sure it would get close to the $16K mark, but I really thing a manufactured boat built by a factory would run $20K - $22K as outfitted. If you have fun doing it,,,, have at it!! Thanks for sharing!

  • 👏 awesome boat build guys! Unbelievable attention to detail. Looks awesome. Just curious how many rivets were needed. Cuz Holy Moly that’s a lot of rivets. Y’all did the transom right by installing solid aluminum. Never have to touch it again! How thick was your aluminum sheeting for the floor? I put 3/4” plywood in mine last time. I’m happy with the floor but the aluminum sheeting definitely cuts back on weight! The Eva foam is definitely the way to go. I used the seadek in mine and now I can stand on my deck barefoot if I want. Before you could literally cook an egg on my deck in summer!
