Ridiculous defense this guy has especially against the best defensive players like Rafa and Murray. His reach is amazing. Only if you can play ridiculous offense like pre 2008 Federer or wawrinka without errors then you can beat him Defense itself is difficult but how does this guy keep his unforced errors to a minimum. That's the real secret. Probably interesting to see whether he practices those crazy shots out of his reach How do those get in????🤔

The footwork and fitness are without equal. But it’s the drive to win the point that is without measure. Novak takes forcing the opponent’s error to the highest level. He wears them down physically in the five-setter slams, but even more - mentally. And the greatest to play this magnificent sport keeps on adding new dimensions to his game at 34. Thanks for these great testimonies to his devotion to tennis.

I disagree on the foot work Federer is better but I agree that with such incredible reach he puts huge doubt in the mind of the offensive player because they're unsure of where to hit the shot because it always comes back and in the court!!! 😂 That's why his opponents question their own strategy and shot selection and make errors. I think there is no stat for career unforced errors..Novak is probably at the top..atleast after 2014 he's become very clinical with minimal errors

Djokovic is my favourite player if you didn't know, for me he is also the greatest of all time, but he has the most beautiful style of playing, Federer has, and tennis isn't tennis without Federer. Obviously that federer statement was out of his disappointment at closing the match although even after that "lucky point" he had match points. I think too much was made out of it but Federer couldn't close it in 2019 as well so you'd expect nole fans to rub salt

As a Djokovic fan, I don't expect too much from Novak other than winning Wimbledon. He isn't going to play in Australia in all probability, and even if he does he will have to face an in form Daniil and Sascha. Then the clay season could be difficult if he has to face an in form Tsitsipas and potentially Nadal. USO will be a complete gamble for Novak once again because of a tough draw.
