Opportunity's Last Message: Why did it go silent on Mars?

My battery is low, and its getting dark.
This is the final message NASA scientists received from the opportunity rover on mars. Launched in the summer of 2003, along with its twin rover spirit, the missions were designed to last just 90 days. After surviving on Mars for almost 15 years, in 2018; Opportunity went silent.

    @snowleopard9463@snowleopard94634 жыл бұрын
    • We always talk about great works of science in passing conversation, so its easy to forget something important. There are people on this planet that have spent their entire lives working on theses projects. Their entire lives were dedicated to either the success or failures of these rovers.

    • GG Gaming Why do you have to bring religion into this?

      @connorcyberlife6775@connorcyberlife67754 жыл бұрын
    • GG Gaming Religion is the belief in a transcendent (higher / supernatural) being such as a God. Im sorry if you only thought about it, but if you are actually religious then I think it really doesn’t fit to bring religion into this

      @connorcyberlife6775@connorcyberlife67754 жыл бұрын
    • @GG Gaming, the problem is that believing in a god makes you religious. Many in the scientific community don't believe in a God.

    • John Smith that is a lie. A friend of is currently working on becoming a future biologist or something or the sort, and him and a lot of his colleagues, including people who have made it, most are claimed to be believers. It's against the stereotype for them to actually believe but in reality the number is higher than assumed
