    • When you are huge and have a big vert you can run a tandem with a back row player. I've played against a team like that, but never on a team that could do that.

  • when i was 14 yrs old i used to think that volley is for girls, after watching haikyuu i love volley is my favourite sport, im still 14 ;/ Update : now im 16 and i play for the team of my school , we won all the regional tournments , but im getting old fast update : im now almost 18 yrs old , we lost for a team by 1 point , and thats about all , we are preparing for the next camps, i am indeed getting old fast.

    • @@tonythetiger5029 The Setter usually sets faster for the middle blockers and the other front row hitters. They just wait a second longer to set the back row, or they'll give it a bit more height for the person hitting back row.

    • Yeah it’s funny what you hear in Haikyuu is not at all what players say in real life. Instead of “chance ball” it’s “free ball”, instead of “nice kill” it’s “YYYEEEEEAaAUUUGGGHHHH!!!!!” Or something along the lines of that. We do say nice serve tho

  • All the Haikyu comments aside, it’s really interesting to see the sport played from the player’s perspective, especially for someone who hasn’t played volleyball.
