Haikyu!! (ハイキュー!!, Haikyū!!, from the kanji 排球 "volleyball") is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Haruichi Furudate. The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a boy determined to become a great volleyball player despite his small stature. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2012 to July 2020, with its chapters collected in forty-five tankōbon volumes.
An anime television series adaptation by Production I.G aired from April 2014 to September 2014, with 25 episodes. A second season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, with 25 episodes. A third season aired from October 2016 to December 2016, with 10 episodes. A fourth season was announced during the Jump Festa '19 and was planned for release in two cours, the first cour of 13 episodes aired from January to April 2020, and the second cour of 12 episodes aired from October to December 2020.
In North America, the manga has been licensed by Viz Media, while the anime series has been licensed for digital and home release by Sentai Filmworks.
Both the manga and anime have been met with positive responses. The manga won the 61st Shogakukan Manga Award for best shōnen manga in 2017. As of November 2020, Haikyu!! had over 50 million copies in circulation.
Tsuki's block is definitely a very intense moment. I loved his story arc and how that moment basically got him hooked on volleyball.

for me one of the greatest moment of haikyuu is when hinata makes a high pass to slow down the pace of the play, you could feel how intense it was starting to get and they made a really good job to recreate the felling of relif

I literally can’t express how much I love Haikyuu. The characters are so relatable and realistic, I was disappointed to find out my favorite characters weren’t real :(. Not only that, but Haikyuu motivated me to achieve my studies. It’s really a blessing to watch Haikyuu.

In s4 2nd last episode It had the best moment when everyone in karuso doubled their speed to get the match point and finish the game While hinata just came out of nowhere and did tht long pass and it was such a epic moment This is one of the best animes out there

Tsukishima's block still lives on in my head, one of the best blocks in any sports anime. combine that with the fact that he was up against a team way out of his league and it makes for such a heartwarming and emotional scene.

Especially when written well, like Haikyu. It is a masterpiece. I loved how Karosuno's simple banner with Fly and the emphasis that one plays volleyball because it is fun, becomes a reoccurring theme. The banner themes were not random. The writer was very careful with their wording and used the actual match to convey the meanings behind each message. He does it with with 'show not tell', which is a sign of a brilliant writer. We don't need the memories, Rule the Court, Iron Wall, and.... Fly

When Hinata started analysing the game and started to block that was some amazing episodes for me. It showed the actual character development. Rest he was super talented in the game

bro karasuno vs aoba johsai at the end of season 2 still remains my favorite match in the series. everyone was going insane in the third set. mad dog and oikawa had insane serves, everyone in karasuno kept getting hit in the face😂, and hinata and kageyama’s quick finally got past aoba’s wall which stopped them in the interhigh tournament
All of nishinoya's moments, hinata coming in clutch by hitting all of the twins' balls and giving the team a moment to breathe, when hinata did his trick with kageyama and looked oikawa directly in his eye like "I'm coming for you"(first time his eyes were conpletely open for the quick attack), tsukishima's blocks, green head's jump floats, tanka's line shot, the captain' recieving, the ace's serves (forgot his name😭), sugawara coming in clutch every time he stepped on the court with his tactics, kageyama in general, the entire team slays💜
