These Minecraft builds aren't fake

None of them are.
In this Mumbo Jumbo Minecraft video, Mumbo builds Minecraft secret entrances, Giant Minecraft Bank Vaults and other Minecraft redstone builds that often get faked. These hidden minecraft secret rooms are shown in thumbnails, and they are never real. So using the Minecraft create mod and using Mumbo Jumbo redstone, Mumbo built makes Minecraft builds that aren't fake.

  • In the latest Create versions, you can just click on two different blocks with superglue to glue the whole cuboid encased with those blocks as corners, so you don't need to off-hand it all the time. And as such, placing anything else within there after gluing the whole cube glues it by default.

  • It's super fun seeing you mess around with the Create mod again! Also, they've changed how glue works in the mod. You don't put the glue between every block, you just select your finished contraption with it and all the blocks within the bounds are glued to their neighboring blocks.

  • Love to see some more create, that mod is just phenominal. This mod is riddled with genius design ideas for quality of life. A few pointers: - If you hold the glue in your main hand, you can use it to draw bounding boxed that glue together everything inside. - The sequenced gearshift can (as the name implies) do multiple precise rotations in a row. notably, it can wait for a redstone pulse before doing the next rotation, so you can have a door that opens and closes using just the sequenced gearshift, no need for the normal gearshift and any of the circutry around that. - Wireless redstone is amazing and dont forget that the controller exists: a perfect key for your secret machines. And finally a build idea; wouldn't it be cool of the middle of the vault door spins as it unlocks before opening, and spins again when it closes. Love the content, great to have you back!

    • I was going to mention the glue tip too, but at 8:32 you can see the bounding boxes, meaning he figured it out. That said, he didn't need that bit of glue holding it to the bearing - the bearing sticks on its own.

      @Autoskip@Autoskip Жыл бұрын
    • I build something similar to your Build Idea some time ago. But in Addition to the rods rotating they first retracted out of the walls surrounding the door. It's basically just an independent mechanism inside the door, that connects to an external engine, when the door is closed. The tricky part is glueing the things in a way, that the internal parts can still move but don't get left behind when the door opens. The rest is just some timed redstone. Was a fun project but the door was pretty massive to fit all that inside without too much showing ;) Edit: found some Screenshots of the door, and i was slightly misremembering. The retracting Rods are not the ones rotating. So there's a rotating cross and at the same time 4 retracting rods. Making the same Rods retract and then rotate would be even more complex, i assume.

  • For a different way to do the bed one, there's a magic mod called Hex Casting which has some unusual unintended Create interactions. With it, you could have the bed directly on the bearing, set it to be always a contraption, and then teleport the bed contraption into place and twist it remotely because the bearing still thinks the bed's attached

Xisuma, Etho, Mumbo, and Iskall have all played Create at some point, but I really think even the less technical hermits would have so much fun with it, just like Bdubs, Keralis, and Scar are doing. The big reason they don't do modded is to stick to what's accessible to most of the viewers, but as long as you have java Minecraft and know how to install mods, the ponder tutorials really make Create nearly as accessible as vanilla.

  • What makes Create Mod so much more rewarding than vanilla Minecraft is that so many of the mechanics are operated in-game, rather than in some menu interface. That’s the primary reason many vanilla mechanics are so boring, like villager trading, or brewing, is because they remove you from the game and just stick you in an interface.

  • There are many things that you either did wrong or did in the traditional way (when there are new create features that make it simpler) Observe: 1) There is a pulse extender block that can be edited to last into the minutes 2) You don't have to offhand the glue, you just hold it and right click to create an area of glue (This would have made your initial idea for the bed mechanism work) There are a lot more things but this comment would be too long if I listed them all, just start browsing through the create menu and test out how shit works. The in-menu tutorials are (mostly) great for this.

  • For the bed one I think you should have twisted the room and left the bed still. Definitely a silly option that could technically work!

  • With the bed image, I think the most accurate way to recreate it would be to have the bed on a stationary barrier block, and rotate the room itself. Useless in game, but would look spot on!

  • If you're playing on an updated version of the mod, you can just right click 2 corners of a box with your glue and it will glue everything that is inside that box (kinda like the world edit axe), saves a lot of time and also has a solid visual to see what sticks to what
