The Kadjar has pretty much the best possible start in life: it’s virtually the same car as the Nissan Qashqai, which is the best car in the class. Make no mistake, the Renault is right up there with its sister car in the vast majority of areas, and that makes it a very good car indeed. It should definitely be on your shortlist.

1,5 year with Kadjar 1.6dci, I just love that car :) I also tow caravan and it's working great.
We got this car recently, the red signature with BOSE integrated sound system and a sunroof, and I have to say we are loving it so far. Really great all purpose car, my neighbour keeps complimenting on the looks every other day and it really looks and feels stylish on the road. Great manoeuvring on the road, and really steady while driving. Lots of space as a family car, the high end model has posh leather interior and good upholstery. Really happy and pleased with the purchase, just one thing, we got the petrol version since we take it out only on weekends and thought it would hold its value for a resale but if you are driving on motorways regularly, should go for the diesel version definitely, will be much much economical. All in all a really good family car :) a very good alternative to the Qashqai.
Congrats mam...and i want to know one thing mam. The total price of this car...pllzzz.
Any hifi gurus will tell you Bose is overated.. My old XC90 Standard sound system blew the pants off any recent Bose rubbish.. car build standards are plummetting.. while they emphasis technology cars are getting more and more complex faults.. Qashqais and Renaults have quite poor reliability.. you may be happy with your purchase BUT you should expect satisfaction.. that is what you pay for.
Never thought about this as an option then wandered past a Renault dealer and was instantly impressed. More handsome than the Qashquai I think this will be our next family car. Really nice inside and the 1.5 diesel is superb. Well done Renault 👍🏻
Just bought the Bose edition, brilliant, now only pay one third of my previous picasso fuel costs, and it's got automatic gearbox.
Great video Autotrader. This really helped me to make my decision.
+Anthony's Reviews and How To's Thanks for the comment. That is exactly what we design these videos for. Glad we could help.
Enjoy you new Kadjar mate. I test drove this car , it went well. However, I had the previous Qashqai model for 5 years and it was very reliable NO PROBLEM whatsoever!! So after careful thought I ended up buying the new Qashqai in diesel.
getting the signature s nav soon
Very informative, factual video.
The positioning of the cruise control switches is not so weird. My cruise control is never switched off so I do not need immediate access to the on/off switch. I operate it with the "set" and "pause" switch together with the "+" and "-" switches. They need to be conveniently placed for frequent use. You see we all drive in slightly different ways so there will never be a perfect setup to suit everyone.
Roger Bingham on most other cars you have to remember to switch it on whereas in this and the Captur is always ready
getting the dynamique model in a few weeks
Funky indents catch strong crosswinds and make cars less stable in strong winds
Me and my ex decided on this car; needed it for the GS (see left) as it has a great sized boot space to put him in. It's a mobility car though. It is also the 1.5 diesel version in the colour shown ' Ocean Blue'.. Kia Sportage, are too small, as are a lot of top of the range suvs . If anyone is wondering.... it doesn't have a CD player, just a bluetooth connection, and a USB point. Just driving it back from the showroom to her place, made you feel like your ears needed blowing as it is sooooo quiet! Road noise is none existent too. It has just won the best suv of the year award too, we were told. We had a Nissa Juke for 3 years; it was CRAP!!! De-mister was next to useless, was in the garage for one thing or another.... including faulty brakes in the first week. Should be renamed the NISSAN JOKE. But this car is a DREAM!!
what kind of suv are you talking about
The Kadjar
The Kadjar
Prefer the Kadjar to the Quashqai. More stylish
Renault kadjer car is very awesome model
Ok car but interior wise not up to the Peugeot 3008 standard
The first review to say the manual gear is crisp after watching well over 10 reviews 🥴

Good review, but did get a bit irritated by the guy's constantly emphasising the word "And".
Del Mac and not pronouncing Kadjar correctly
You always remove the electronic handbrake, don't you know you never need too? It goes off automatically
Adam Perkins
Hi, I bought this car last month but still waiting for it. I don’t get the handbrake thing. Should I remove it or not ? What did I have to do first neutral mode and after put the handbrake and the put the P mode ? I don’t know how it works, it will be my first automatic car. Thanks
Yes but if u keep pulling the car forward and letting the parking brake go off automatically it will wear the parking brake pretty quickly
Ok car but prefer the all new Kia Sportage. Love that look!
Kia looks like design mistake to me, it's terrible on outside and inside both rly
Wtf is intuitive.. why does the onboard computer bollocks trump how it drives, cost, comfort and reliability. Note the Renault K9K 1.5 diesel engine is very economical but has shit all torque at low revs.. it relies heavily on turbo being spooled up.. Ford Kuga and Peugeot 3008 are far far better cars and 2 litre diesels are generally better engines give true 50mpg in manual
הגאגר רכב מדהים
Dacia Duster is waaaay better value for money
Not to badge snobs 😀
Worst car I have ever driven.
Car with no alloys in 2017? Don't buy. Just a big junk.
