We all have our obliques inside of us design to protect our spine and conduct the rythme and tempo of 1 (2-3) in our golf swing as well as giving us all incredible accuracy in our swing How we use them correctly or incorrectly though become another matter. If we swing ahead of them we swung with our arms; but don’t condemn ourselves as I am sure even Tiger did it once or twice. Tiger come back stronger then ever. We love to see you play. Cheers

  • You can learn more from Tiger now the golfer than you could learn from watching him in his prime. Dude doesn’t have close to the speed that he used to but he can still get the ball down there enough to be able to compete. All AM golfers could learn to not go so hard at the ball honestly.

I should clarify my earlier statement that 200 yards off the tee is enough to comfortably make par. Which should be the casual golfers goal. If you hit it nice and easy about 200 off the tee you can then put your 2nd shot safely around or on the green to knock it close for par.

  • 6:35 is the sequence that most amateurs are missing. Instead, they throw it from the top with their arms when they should be uncoiling from the ground up. Try snapping a kitchen towel at home as fast as you can from the top of your backswing. I think that helps you understand the proper sequence because if you throw it from the top it is way slower, and with the towel it's easy to notice the difference.

    • Actually Mike Austin and Jack Nicklaus threw it from the top so it can work. There are many ways to swing a club which is why golf is so confusing to learn. You can generate tremendous speed throwing from the top but you can also do it by down cocking- 2 totally different mechanisms. There is no 1 absolute swing that works for everyone.

      @jacobr4558@jacobr45582 жыл бұрын

    @sovamainnn8154@sovamainnn81542 жыл бұрын
  • The man still has excellent form; 1. No standing up in the take away, maintains excellent head and spine angle. 2. Doesn't snatch the club inside, the arms and wrists fold progressively. 3. Trail elbow sufficiently high enough in the backswing for good arm structure at the top. 4. Creates good pelvis depth in the downswing, hips always rotating ahead of the upper body. 5. Wrists maintain good angle in the downswing, and release with a little across the line trap release. A TW trade-mark. 6. Trail shoulder rotates under the chin and spine angle is maintained. This is where maximum effort and stress is being placed on the body, but TW just motors through it like it ain't nothing! 7. Pelvis extends nicely right on time. 8. And the classic TW finish. The man still has an excellent golf swing, even with that slightly stiff and fatigued lead leg. Cold ice baths, followed by heat so he can get out there and do what he loves. This is the reason why VERY FEW excel, they refuse to push through it. There's a reason his name is TIGER!
