Hellblade 2 is multiplatform, but is not coming to PS5. Especially not after porting other games to recently PS5 were a disaster for the Xbox brand. Porting games to PS5 backfired hard.

The Order was one of the most shallow, vapid, cynical gaming experiences ever produced. It's as if they thought _"high production values"_ alone could carry the game, and shows how little they thought of their audience. It's creatively bankrupt how a certain platform obsesses over high production values, and it's the very thing that's resulted in 300 million dollar budgets.
If Xbox plans to release this on other platforms, they are toast. This is one of the few artsy high quality exclusives Xbox has (will have) so from a business standpoint they HAVE to keep it exclusive.

Great to see a really immersive experience coming up and a nice break from all those 40-80 hours games. 30 fps is 100% fine for this type of game, especially with these level of graphics and sound!
You can have immersive games at 40-80 hours. This just adds a layer of immersion due to the hallucinations and the smaller more compact world locations over an open world. Clocked hours in the game overall doesnt change immersion, details do.

Unreal Engine 5 games are few & far in-between in 2024, but going into 2025 theyll be as common as.....whatever whatever. We are transitioning into a truly unique time in video gaming history, as games become near photorealistic. Things will not be the same.

I've read in multiple places now that UE5 games have some sort of memory leak issue, causing graphics driver crash. Dead Island 2, Jedi Survivor both suffer from this; I'm suffering the crash of the latter myself. So, this makes sad about the possibility that Hellblade 2 will also have similar fate.
This game would be a must buy if it wasn't digital only.

@Omelletr nope all my 260 xbox games are digital but there's some of those who can't get over not having disc's (even though disc's are useless now as they only hold half the game and then you gotta download the other half and then any updates anyway)

What even is this comment? To have a vr game of this graphical quality would need a very expensive pc and headset that most people don’t have access to. Many more people have an Xbox and also it’s designed to be a 3rd person game.
And yet they did exactly that 6 years ago with the first game. You can play 3rd person games in VR and it certainly increases the immerses into the game’s world.
