  • I'm a diehard true blue Corsair fan using their PSU, CPU AIO, RAM, LED fans, keyboard and mouse (recently upgraded my M65 to the Nightsaber). To be honest, I never really needed to upgrade my Corsair stuff, they lasted way longer than their shelf life and I upgraded not for want of better specs but more for updating to the latest models after a few years.

  • I used to use SteelSeries mice, but I switched to Corsair since my keyboard was already on the iCue program and I figured I could do away with also having the Engine software for SteelSeries. I got the Nightsword, and while I really liked the shape, feel, and build quality itself, I felt the side buttons were really cheap. They feel mushy, and for me were a bit to high and forward for a mouse that has a thumb rest. Next, I got a Scimitar to try it, and white the quality is even better, with the side buttons being very impressive.. I just can't come around to the 12 buttons; it's too many for me. The MMO games that I do play aren't ones you need all those buttons for.. and for the action and shooter games I play, 12 is too many. I also have to slide my hand up to reach the 1-3 keys, with 4-6 being barely in reach (even with the number pad adjusted all the way back). I want a mouse that is like the Nightsword, but the side buttons are higher quality and in a more sensible spot. Honestly, I'm almost at the point of moving back to SteelSeries and just dealing with more bloat.

  • Funny reviews always forget to review software options for gaming mouse and how "clean" they are +DPI steps. Software is the most important feature on most gaming mouse for finetuning !. Software can also be a pain in the butt like Razer`s software who actually bloat your pc heavily, and is the reason i never buy Razer again. Also the software on razer only offers DPI incredement on 50dpi and corsair 1 DPI (much better).

  • 2:22 If you're going to blast us with annoyingly huge subtitles and in-your-face highlights, at least make sure the information conveyed by the text isn't screwed up. It's "Eight programmable buttons," presumably, not "A programmable buttons"!

  • Really bad mouse. Sometimes the buttons work. Sometimes they write numbers. Sometimes they don't work at all. Feels bad in the hand because of the asymmetric shape, when it is actually a right handed mouse. Will give you an aching hand, unlike all other mice I've used in the past 20 years. My palm doesn't fit on this palm mouse ( height 5'8 ). The thumb buttons are too far back and so are the two index buttons. The blinking flashing lights are on by default. The lights are distracting and one is on the palm rest so you would never see it when it's in use. Two point directly at your monitor and make a lovely flashing reflection when you are trying to concentrate. Everyone loved that, right? You need to download bloatware just to turn them off. People that don't want the lights on, don't want the bloatware. People that want lights, usually like bloatware to play with the lights. Boycott Corsair for your next purchase. Show them that things need to change. These are just a few of the basic things that are proof Corsair must be totally brainless. I mean, come on guys. These are obvious basic faults. It's not even like it was a mistake. Corsair purposefully designed this mouse to be stupid. When a company puts money into purposefully being stupid, they are failing at the most basic level. ADVICE for Corsair. Take a lump of clay. Take an average height man ( 5'8 ). Ask him to press his hand into the lump of clay, like he is holding a mouse. Now you have a mould for the smallest sized hand of the largest mouse you make. From there, Mould a mouse that has a rear palm slider, made of aluminium, that will slide back, to increase size for larger hands. Move the thumb button as far forward as the thumb can reach and place one back from that. Now you have the two thumb buttons. the DPI buttons, repeat this same process, but put a gap/plate between the two DPI buttons and the left click button. raise the mouse wheel and make it out of solid plastic, crosshatched. Put both a thumb rest and a pinky finger rest on each side. Add right and left side grip to the aluminium sliding palm grip so that the palm actually grips the mouse when you place your hand on it and you are able to lift all fingers, and still maneuver the mouse without it going all over the place. The two buttons behind the mouse are almost pointless, but if you are going to have them, they must not interfere with the palm. If you can press these buttons with your palm, they are in the wrong place. Move them forward, closer to the mouse wheel. Move the mouse wheel forward also if you have to. Don't be afraid to get it right... or you will just get it wrong again and again. Don't ask kids to help you design it. Give it to an older man and woman that are experienced. Kids like flashing lights, and get big heads. Adults will tell you straight, your product is crap!

    • im 5'8" and have been using the M65 for around 6 years and it has never given me hand aches or anything. It's always felt great in my hand and the buttons are always responsive for me. If you're having an issue with the buttons you might just need the iCUE program installed and launched, which it automatically does on PC startup if its installed.
