Arthur is old school! A metal working genius! Forty years ago there were only a few old school body men left here in the states who worked the old methods like Arthur does. Today's body man doesn't understand shrinking metal or tinning or any of that or even if he does he doesn't have the skills to do it! Now it's a throwaway society! Just replace everything or total it out!

Sorry but It needed a new quarter Panel. He spent how many hours fixing the quarter for what it look like and the panel that supported it should have been replaced not pulled off the car hammered out and re-welded back on
They could have bought the bodypanels and shipped them with the car in the same container.

Very honest of him to say that the hood didn't turn out well.
Arthur's "didn't turn out well", is others, "awesome, it looks great".
It s because that he made the hood as good as possible,otherwise the owner should buy a new hood because some things you just cannot fix

I like the idea of using tin in place of body filler. It adheres to the metal better, and there's no cure time. It's old school, but it works
The only issue with it is that you burn the paint/coating off on the other side of the panel in the process. This means the panel is more likely to rust from the inside out.

plus tin does not shrink over time like bondo does

At least in America, cars are still repaired. Here in Australia, they are totalled for not much more than a dented fender.

Arthur, your the best auto repairman ever period!!! Beautiful work!
I wouldn't trust myself to hammer out the quarter and weld it up without a test fit of the rear bumper. Screw the parts together before welding and check the bumper fit. The gap at the bodyline was too flush compared to the rest of the fit of the rear bumper. Very nice panel work on the quarter. I am from the same school of thought. Cut the parts off and hammer them back into shape. Then reweld them. That hood repair was a tough job to do. Cutting along the edge and hammering it straight and rewelding it back after it had been stretched so much. I enjoy Arthur's video. I don't have to sweat and I get to see a nice job.

Nada como ver un auto reparado de esa manera, con la pintura terminada, ya tenía rato que no se mostraba un trabajo así, que su trabajo Master se aprecia sin necesidad de la pintura, pero ver un trabajo terminado, siempre será genial. Me gustó mucho el vídeo, y su trabajo como siempre es excepcional.

Неоднократно бывают варианты что орг новый бывает дешевле чем на шроте. Свой пример приведу subaru wrx 2017 на шроте крыло 150-200. Кто имел на момент 200 хотел. А новый через 2 недели привезли за 100
