  • Usually just bowl in one center. But going to my first tournament since I was a teenager next month, so this was a great video for me.

  • Ill usually have an early ball, mid ball, and late ball. I start with the mid one and adjust. If its knocking out corners im ready and if its close ill move or change my release. If it looks bad i go to the stong/angular ball depending. The biggest tip for me is if you see alot of deflection you need to change something. If the ball keeps going left/right through the deck youre matched up and will strike alot

  • For better or for worse, I bowl in 3 different centers every week lol. One is close to home and affordable for practice, one is far from home with the best pro shop in town where I bowl one league, and one center I dont care for has my full 5 man league. Im pretty new and I just figure its good learning experience!

  • I visit about 10-15 different bowling centers per year, depending on how many tournaments I sign up for. I mostly bowl across 5-7 houses. A few are different. It has taught me to figure out my line in about 3 shots per lane. It helps having a well rounded bag to deal with the various patterns and conditions. I have been bowling for 41 years and always threw leagues and tournaments at different houses, but at least 1 league at 1 consistent house.

  • I bowl at a new center two times per year for the Wisconsin State USBC Tournament. It changes between several cities and centers every year and is always at 2 different centers in the same city; Minors at 1 Center, Majors at the other Center.

  • I bowl in 4 different houses where I live but only on house patterns and they are similar just small sutle differences. It cool to see how a pro tries to figure out what they are bowling on, love the video

  • I think he was long on both patterns because the Journey is polished. Solid ball will probably give a closer answer/guess. No matter; the ball in your hand is the one to make the adjustments off of. It's really great to be able to watch a professional spec out the pattern, for educational purposes.

    • You mean sanded ball, not solid. Coverstock designator is independent of surface prep. Polishing solids and sanding pearls if perfectly fine and companies often sell them this way out of box. The rest of what you said I definitely agree with.

  • 3 different places for league. Went to Mike Aulby's Arrowhead bowl on Saturday for a state tournament. It's difficult for me to get to other places to bowl sometimes. I prefer going with someone else than alone.

  • Back to bowling after 20 years. Went completely no thumb first of this year. I've bowled in 12 different centers this year. In short 3 or 4 game tournaments, it can really be difficult to figure it out quickly enough to not have a bad first game. I am throwing plastic, urethane, and reactive and watching how much they react on the back to see which one to start with.

  • For someone who has a Journey, I got the right pattern correct and was close on the left pattern. That ball likes to go a little longer and then roll

  • I don’t get out much 😢😢 the center I do most of my bowling at your lucky to get ur ball to move 12 boards If you ask me the fresh plays really hard. Ull see a lot of back pins and corner pins left across the board scores go up at the night goes on

  • Left lane is closer to 36’ and flat. Right lane looks like a 44’ house shot.

  • Horrible difference. Left lane must have had several games of open bowling prior or their oiler sucks. Since it was snapping on the back end why didn't you move far inside instead of out? Your ball remained a runaway.
