    • Simple answer, he’s not going to. (Even had the audacity to compare his leg kicks to Alex 💀💀💀) jamahal a real fighter so he has to be unrealistically confident. But in reality nobody has a chance in a stand up fight in that division against poatan. The ONLY guy who has shown to be able to consistently land and hurt him is Izzy and even he gets outstruck. If Hill came in with Demian Maia-esque gameplan he would have way better chance of winning, after all the sport is MMA and should be approached as such. Some of these MMA fighters (Jiri, Hill, Costa etc.) fell in love with their striking prowess too much they overlook some fighters (Izzy, Alex) had put their whole focus on mastering one art which they can bypass with their grappling. Had DJ lacked self-awareness of his skills coming up against Rodtang, it would have been an AJ-Ngannou moment, thankfully he has enough humility and intelligence.

  • Alex Pereira is a beast with his hook and leg kicks, but he definitely seems knock out-able, as long as you’re a smart and not super traditional striker, Jiri even seemed to be getting the better of him some exchanges, even though he got a little too excited

    @connieworroll368@connieworroll3685 ай бұрын
    • Jiri touched him forsure, but thats because of jiris blitz heavy style and the fact that alex likes to keep his hands a bit out there. I feel if anyone tries to kick box alex, most of the time theyre going to sleep. Jahmal is a southpaw with heavy hands tho, so its definitley possible. I just hope he incorperates all aspects of mma, which will set up his one and done shot; but if he cant close the distance and gets his leg chewed up, its gonna be a long night for him (or not 🤜😴)
