  • DJ was just ahead if his time. Take DJ of 12 plus years ago put him in that same position today he is a superstar. He was walking out in XBox gear far before gaming was popular like it is today just as one example. The most dominant champion ever at the flyweight division..... Most did not care about that division they like they do now. And most importantly he was hinself, didnt act it up for the camera to grow his platform and today that is what resonates with people where back then you needed the fake bigger than life persona. The greatest to ever do it was just living in the wrong time. Love DJ and will support whatever he does in life for giving me years of entertainment and motivation.

There are a LOT of people in this game who are genuinely effed up, and let's be honest, to fight and do what you do, you have to have a few screws lose...(I fight too, and lord knows I do) The way that you take care of your family, is inspiring and people should take a few notes from how you behave in general. You are a GOOD MAN. I watch your videos all the time, and not ONLY do you care about your fans, you care about society and people in general. You are an amazing man, and you have made a great example for not just young men, but all men. (which we sorely lack in today's society) You are an AMAZING fighter. You are NOT erased from Dana White. There is no fighter on this planet who knows what they are talking about that wouldn't put you up there with the very best to ever do this. Keep going my brother. Boxing especially, even at middleweight (canelo weight) exchanges can be difficult to understand. Heavyweights move slower and people can see whats happening for the most part. Its like when hockey is on and you cant tell where the puck is, it ruins the experience for the casual because you have no idea wahts happening.

    • Probably a definite factor. There may also be the factor that our shallow and often illogical society devalues shorter and smaller sized men. Often portrayed as "less than". That affects everything else in our society, because it colors how we perceive men in various different areas.
