But later in his career he'd be great. He's knowledgeable in the ground game, mike, Paul and the others are great but they are stand up fighters

  • I believe when you chase some sort of objective and tell yourself “I’ll be happy once I get this or once I have this or do this” you’ll find that once you get that thing you’re no different than before. I believe the path to happiness is within, not some external point to run to, so look within and find a perspective that allows you to be happy in the present. And I think we should spend most our time in the present because happiness is maximized when you’re lost in the moment and not thinking of something else while you’re doing whatever it is that is bringing you happiness. I find meditation helps practice being present and being in your body more than your mind. I also find that while meditating the mind is put at ease, making it easier to find a healthy perspective on things. Peace and love mis amigos eternos :)

    • No reason u can’t be happy while working towards a goal whether it’s material possessions or not. I totally get and respect your way of thinking and that’s awesome that u found what works for u but this crazy world we live in is made up of all sorts of people that are drastically different so what works and makes sense to u and makes u happy while you’re doing it probably won’t work for the next person and just because they choose to live in completely different way doesn’t mean that they won’t be happy doing it their way ya know.

You can still enjoy progress or the process of practicing something but just from a different state of mind... Not hoping that it will someday make you happy. Truth be told I'm pretty ambitious and not fully bought into this way of thinking yet... But I see the valid points and paradox it brings up. It's a pretty nuanced topic.
