In the late 70s, Trebek began hosting shows like “The Wizard of Odds,” “Double Dare,” “The $128,000 Question.” His ride in Jeopardy! begins in 1984. At only age 44, Trebek walked onto the newly made Jeopardy! set, with 3 contestants ready to play the game. In 1987, Trebek started hosting “Classic Concentration.” A few years later, he stops hosting the show, to focus more on Jeopardy! He hosts the show for many more years, many more set changes, until October 29, 2020, his last day on the set. Today, he died of Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer, and a funeral has not been held yet. Your “group,” UTTP, is ridiculing the best game show host for dying. You should be ashamed of yourself for spreading around offensive/rude misinformation.

  • When you grow up watching someone on tv for almost 30 years, the person feels like a member of your family. Alex’s image, the sound of his voice and his regal presence on the show was always in the background in my house. I’m so glad he’s no longer in pain or suffering from illness and I understand that death is a natural part of life. Jeopardy won’t be the same without him. Alex will be missed by millions.

  • What is I grew up with this man, since I was a little girl. He was always on in my house at 7:30pm unless I was on deployment. As much as I am happy he is no longer in any pain, it hurts that I have lost someone who was like the grandpa I never had. With the chaos going on in the world, he was that voice that calmed me down. When a game show debuts and a person has been hosting the show for as long as he did from Day one, they become the show. He was Jeopardy, and that he has died, the show is pretty much dead, too.   • Very sad and heartbreaking. I've been watching and playing along with Jeopardy since I was in 5th grade. Always wanted to try out but did the next best thing which is buy the game. I love both. Jeopardy wi'll never be the same without Mr.Trebek. I think the very last episode I loved was with Dhruv when he didn't know the answer in that particular final jeopardy but answered anyway "We love you Alex". I know it touched Alex's heart profoundly and others too including mine. After 36 years with him, where will we ever find another, the answer is we'll never ever find and have another Alex Trebek. Heartbroken beyond words. Rest in heavenly peace Alex. Eternal love.

I'm on oxygen all day and night and I'm still struggling to recuperate from (5) hip surgeries (2) I've had (2) very bad dislocations and that need yet another surgery to remove the total hip replacement wait a month and have another surgery to put in a cement spacer. I Thank God For Everyday That I Wake Up And For Giving Me The Strength To Move As Best I Can. What I Go Through Each Day, Doesn't Compare To What You Go Through Daily.
