3:11 - Don't forget to vote for your favourite!
Seat or used Touran
carwow I vote for the Toyota Land Cruiser.
All are horrible inside, the ford has the best front, and the Qashquai has the best rear.
I like the qashqai it has a happy face
carwow Why didn't you compared them with škoda karoq?
The one thing car reviewers never discuss is reliability record which is probably what most people car about most.
The Kugas boot floor can be made flat when the rear seat are down, by repositioning the floor onto the 3 protrusions at the rear of the back seats. This is what they are intended for.
Shame you didn’t mention the ST line has sport suspension. That’s why it’s harder ride.
Renault Kadjar ! 👍👌
Qashqai👍❤️
I'd want the exterior of the ford, the interior of the Nissan and the practicality of the the Renault.
I bought the Qashqai and it is an awesome car. The driving experience is luxurious and the traction control in sharp higher speed corners makes it a dream to drive.
Having tried all 3 in 2017 when we bought the first Kuga and now when we bought the second Kuga. The other 2 feel more like cheap plastic interior, The seats of the Nissan and Renault have a cheaper feel. When you hit a bump you feel that the Nissan and Renault are cheaper. Sorry but the Kuga is so much better.
The best presentation ever love the show
A friend and I tested the rear seat space in my new kuga, and, there was loads of room for us to enjoy ourselves, 😏 it drives well and all his silly dislikes should not put you off what is a great car.
ha gayyyyyyyyyy
By the way, fantastic production quality carwow 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻 enjoy watching your content a lottt
If you want to compare comfort, get a normal Kuga! Not a ST Line. My vote definitely goes to the Kuga. By the way... did you know that you can rest the boot floor on the 3 bumps at the bottom of the rear seats when you fold down the rear seats... Presto! a flat boot floor.
Don't care what Matt says I can tell you in real terms as I have a a power chair and have tried all 3 cars and the kuga is the only one that I can fit the power chair in the back with the back seats left up Plus you can lift the floor up to make it a flat load in the back
like before watching i like how u even compare the normal car not only expensive car and the u talk and ur sense of humor man u really deserve more than 1 million
can I just say for kuga has one of the best infotainment systems it big and can show nearest fuel tanks hospitals and it nabigarions it amazing plus get it in red and it is sleeekk asf
But the interior design is...... Bulbus, I think the word is
Im currently Driving The 2018 Qashqai and i love it its snappy comfortable economical b far one of my favourites 5 Stars from me
Will you be testing the new Kia Sportage 'hybrid' version when it comes out?
Another great video
Can you please review the 2018 skoda rapid spaceback and the sedan version ???
People talking shit about the kuga but never drove one or even towed with it, they’re unbelievable on how stable they are
Completely agree, my parents have the Kuga, I borrowed it to take to France, and that 2 litre engine is an absolute treat on the Motorway. My Dad uses it to tow the boat and makes mince meat out of it due to the engine, and being so comfortable.
Yeah Alot of people hated the 2015/2016 kuga because it was catching on fire but even though it was recalled no one wants it and loves to hate on it
When you come to sell them on every one will want the kuga not the other two
I tried a few & bought the Kuga in a 2 litre diesel AWD, manual gearbox spec. Whilst by no means a proper 4x4, it’s capable of dealing with very poor potholed tracks, some mud & snow & sloping wet grass in a far better manner than a standard 2 wheel drive vehicle. It is sufficient for my off the tarmac needs without sacrificing decent fuel economy or on road handling in the way a dedicated off road 4x4 (which is capable of going far further into the wilderness than I require) would in 99% of my dat to day driving. Also servicing & repairs/ parts are reasonably priced compared to other makes (not that I’ve required the latter 2 yet) & it has the best load capacity of the 3 on test with the back seats down, which is what I need for a weeks fishing holiday with a car full of a friends & my kit to cover all river conditions we may encounter. If the QQ were swapped for an X Trail with AWD, then I may be tempted, but the diesel on offer is only 1.7 litres and it’s a bit anaemic compared to the 2 litre in the Kuga; if Nissan would put a decent 2 litre diesel with around 180 - 200 bhp in the X Trail then it be a viable option for many people, particularly those who want to tow with it, which I don’t, but I know many who do.
I have drive all 3. All 3 are nice car to drive. I can only have automatic cos my problem with my left leg. Had Ford for 3 years and only get 38 mile per gallon! Now I'm on kadjar and get 55 mile per gallon. Mate of my got Quahqai automatic only do 34 mile per gallon got same engine as my kadjar 1.5 automatic dci. I'm happy with kadjar so comfortable to drive.
The Renault Kadjar gets my vote
We have a kuga, previous model and I think you can adjust the rear floor so it’ll level when you fold the rear seats
Yes he missed that
Fat nose
Thanks for the review, I have just ordered the Kadjar - Stephen
Shitty car
Ali Express haha better than you’re leased car mate
Good choice
I feel sorry for you
Gonzo Gilberto why I’ve had one for just over a year, brilliant car fits all the family in, does its job pretty well, good fuel consumption you can’t complain for the price you can pick them up for
Speaking of the Kuga, do you remember when Ford put a detuned version of the Focus ST’s 5 cylinder turbo engine into the first generation Kuga?
Yes, I have that Kuga, 2.5 petrol and recently add to her 60+HP and 80+NM, now it has 275 HP and 400 Nm, interested to see , leave you facebook on comment. And i intend to go for the full power of the Engine, 305 HP or the focus rs500 package of 345HP.
And also a Kuga rs is coming armed with a 2.3ecoboost engine. And 350 HP
Lex Luthor Do we even know if there will even be a Kuga RS coming yet?
In late 2019 it had been said. And yes Ford confirmed the model, it will be directly against Ateca Cupra and other sport crossover, they needed a sport version again.
Lol
I got a Kuga 67 plate i really like. Kuga is my winner.
Nice vid. I have the Kadjar in Dynamique Nav spec. I thinks its the best balance of spec against pricing to be fair, and that tyre noise goes away with using the 17 inch deeper tyre over the standard 19 inch on the S spec model. Tyre choice will help as well as i have found. The 1.5 is a great balance of power and economy, and the unit is used in a whole host of platforms...including Mercedes...what does that tell you. Wth the extra length on the rear of Kadjar that gives you better boot space and a non step boot floor that helps loading, I recon its a Great value car in my opinion.
With the latest updated Nissan Qashqai seems to be the best from the 3 cars. But how the car handles is also important and can also influence what we each choose. A few comments on the Kuga though : - This Kuga as ST line which is not fair to compare to both Nissan and Renault , as it has different bushings and other suspension parts then all other versions. This indeed makes the ride more firm and bumpy. This is why I went for the Titanium version and I guarantee is similar comfortable to Nissan Qashqai or Renault Kadjar, with better handling. - Space in the back is reasonable decent and the seats are ok in terms of comfort. Plus the nice feature with the reclining back ( which also can give additional space in the back if needed ) - Boot is pretty big and the boot floor can be adjusted to overcome the ridge when you fold the seats . - You always complain about the location of the lever to fold the back seats. ( in this video and many others) That is quite a good idea not to have them in the boot, but rather back next to the seats. I see most cars have them in the boot with the recent models. Let me give you an example : with hands free boot opening, there are times when you want to put something in the boot but don't want to open the it , either because it takes 1 min to open and close or you cant because of your parking position. So you can fold the seats down from the back door ( in the Kuga at least ) and reach into the boot space an grab or put something. - I like the seating position in the KUGA where you don't see the front of the car. Most cars don't have this. But this is personal. Either way when you park , you use the sensors :P
My Dad has a 2016 Kuga (2.0 Petrol Turbo), and my car is a 2017 WRX. I have never had issues when driving his Kuga. Always felt it handles nicely, and is really easy to drive, and has more than enough power and torque. I agree the dash is a bit weird, you soon get used to it. As far as style goes, the Kuga is ridiculously better than the other two, especially that Renault. Can't believe that came out on top. I always have though French cars are weird looking.
Very Good as usual, but you should also consider comparing petrol engine with automatic gearbox which are more famous in countries other than UK also you need to take reliability as a factory as well for instance Qashqai has massive issues in its turbo petrol engine as well as the cvt gearbox but kuga and Renault are more solid
Would definitely choose the Kadjar
Yass, correct ranking for once 👏
I got a Renault Kadjar GT LIne on the back of this video and I think its great - Hopefully they can reshoot this video for 2021 models.
Any thoughts on how they compare with the seat ATECA I drove one recently and loved it thinking of getting one
Great video
Out of the trio, I would go for the Renault Kadjar because of it is spacious on the inside, flexible boot and great infotainment system. I would go for the petrol not diesel.
No, not many would since it got discontinued.
@@eeerrraaannn so what? still the Kadjar is way better than the other ones and I drove and used all the model shown here. But I would go for the Diesel one.
I have had two Renults and they have been amazing. My next car will be the Kadjar
Years ago renault Citroën and pugeout all got terrible reviews but they seem to have improved a lot skoda also..... I'm looking an suv and can't decide which love volvo but quite expensive
@@markjeffers4663 there is also the VW Tigaun which U heard is a great one
Try 2008 or 3008 for french cars
NISSAN exterior fantastic
trinity trinity disouza I hate the back of the quashquai it annoys me
The Nissan kicked this whole segment off, (and for a brief time in 2017, was he best selling car (so sad). So I don't care how nice it may look, drive, or mpg, etc.. I don't want one.
With a Piece of shit gearbox CVT which breaks down in all of their models.
We got a 2018 Quasqai ink blue looks nice, interior quality crap though, I was shocked its not robust.
@@iphone202020220 in the last few years have you heard of widespread issues with the maxima, murano or pathfinder cvt? I have 178k on my cvt and it's not broken in my Altima but I was just took someone off the side of the road when his Toyota Corolla with 130k miles transmission shifted itself. Any car can have a problem.
nice review
Nice work carwao
I test the Qashqai (the old, not the new), and Kuga and buy a Kuga in last year, for me is the best car (of that three), and i can buy the Kuga more cheaper that the other 2. ;)
The only thing I don’t like about the Kadjar is that it’s the only one of the three available in the UK WITHOUT a heated windscreen. It’s a major oversight on their part. If they and Nissan share mechanicals why not the thermaclear windscreen on the Qashqai?
If I were in the market for a crosswover, I'd hold on a few more weeks for the facelifted Tucson and Sportage. (I own the 2017 Tucson)
Cool im getting one in june!
Kadjar 1200 CC T 130 HP - max speed achieved 205 KM/H
i drove those three models often because of my work and renting cars around Europe and for me, the best is the Kadjar and I got one, enjoying it.
Hi iam in procces to buy a second hand suv and my badget is for a 2019-2020 kadjar or a nissan quaskai 1.6 or 1.7 .Did you had any problems so far with the renault and what type of engine you choose?
@@user-mr9jt7pr9h hi, I have the 1.5 diesel automatic engine (this is my very first automatic car and I truly dont regret) and despite its a big car its very economic. Since I bought it I havent had any single issues at all. Renault engines are very reliable so you wont go wrong. Personally...I have never own a Nissan but I drove this model (Quashai) several times including the Kuga and other Ford models and I will still stay with Renault. Why? cheap to run with very decent engine. Another point to consider it that the Kadjar is way bigger than the Quashai, you can feel it when you drive them, I mainly got the Kadjar cos I love go for camping and when the weather is shite, I can sleep inside, plenty space....at the end, its your choice.
the kuga is firmer only in the st line, i ve driven the kouga vignale and it is much softer over bumps.
Qashqai looks best by far
put glasses
If you wanted to test the kuga on comfort, you should of used a regular kuga because with the st-line designed to be more "sporty", ford decided to stiffen the suspension and I own a kuga and I can tell you that it is rather comfortable to drive.
dont like your pfp mate
I don't live in the UK, but if I were in the market for one of these SUVs, definitely would go for the Kadjar. Cool looking and the most practical, that's really all I'd ever need.
To me the Qashqai looked the best out of the three and packs a decent performance... I'd take it
Can we see a review to Subaru XV, both old and the new models?
Oops! we have recently ordered a kuga stx, 2 litre...but i prefer the look of it over the other two...
DrMoorehen I think it drives the best too...
DrMoorehen definitely. Kadjar looks dated and cheap in comparison with the other two.
I have had those three and the kuga is the best
DrMoorehen I have one. You won't be disappointed. I love it
Great car, you won’t be disappointed
Have to agree. But when I was in the market, I bought a Peugeot 3008 GT Line with grip control.
noisy car on the road.
Note on some Nissan Spacesaver wheel is roughly 220 option.
One similarity is that they all have kung- fu warrior kind of names 😆
I think I would get the Kia Sorento because you get a great discount from carwow and it feels well built (not that’s it’s on this video) what do you think mat? But if I chose out of these 3 it would Be the Ford Kuga
In the USA the Nissan is called the Rouge Sport and the Ford Kugar is the escape
Seit einer Woche Besitzer eines kadjar. Super Auto 👍
Can you review the new ceed
Add to the comparison towing capacity. Ford with 2.0 ecoboost is 3500lbs in North America. In EU I think Qashqai rating is higher than NA, but it's not clear. Can you confirm the specs?
FORD Kuga's have been spontaneously catching fire here in South Africa
how much money can you save on the Nissan Juke and X-trail with carwow?
what about the mitsubichi eclipse cross ?
Kadjar is the best option ! Space inside is fantastic , price is fantastic, best choice 100% !
@carwow I know, that it is so offtopic, but can you do a review on the Ferrari 812 Superfast?
Can you do video for Audi Q7 please
I bought the kadjar. Found it more comfortable and a nice drive. Spacious too
Sorry to break it down t u m8. But u bought a piece of s***
@@nourizakaria642 I dont think so mate. It's a nice car
I love this channel.
Have nothing against diesel (some are very clean, and run nicely!), but strange that the Nissan 1.5 diesel is 'recommended' when the Mayor of London's website (google "mayor of london newer vehicle checker") states that it emits up to 12 times more NOx than it should (roughly equivalent to two Euro6 buses), the Kadjar's diesel is not much better - and where a Tiguan diesel for example actually complies with Euro 6. Strange. (I think the answer might be SCR?).
It's interesting how 'dirty' in real-world on-road emission testing the popular Nissan/Renault diesels are! It's not such a big issue now, as a lot of customers of SUV's and CUV's are switching to petrol engines (ironically, until the recent mandated fitting of petrol particulate filters to direct injection petrol engines, they were actually very bad for micro-particles; and also petrol contains benzene, a known carcinogen...). But when fuel prices start rising again, the pendulum will swing the other way, and fuel guzzling petrol-engined SUV's will lose! People will want a clean 'economical' diesel with low CO2...!
Hello, this has been fixed in the newer versions of Nissan-Renault engines. Best regards.
The Pakistani mayor
Don't believe anything about a VW diesel. You not read the news
I wish you included Peugeot 3008. Kia Sportage or CX 5
I have the Nissan Qashpai and i have got the exact same coluer in the vid
Of all the car inventions in the last decade, I couldn't care less if I can fold the seats from the booth or not, just for those 3-4 times you'd need it in a year (even though I do in fact have the option in my current car, as it's standard)
I bought the Kugar for my Cougar!♡
You got it the wrong way round. Your cougar should buy YOU the car lolol. Mine got me three 4x4's, took me on 13 cruises, and kept me financially sound. It's over now, but the ride was good at the time ;)
@@parahandy6251are you sure we did have same Cougar
Good review just ordered a kadjar s edition
Signing for s edition auto diesel in iron blue tomorrow. Told car will be at UK import centre 24th Dec, collect 4th-10th Jan. Another dealer/salesman spun me a porky, the car he said was coming in did not exist. I was sus of him, decided to do some amateur sleuthology and got another dealer to check factory, French export centre and UK import centre. No entry found, car hasn't been built. His intention was to dangle me on a string because that car would not be available until 3rd week Feb! Difference tomorrow is salesman will show me on screen that he has got my name on it. I'll get the last laugh though, I did not leave deposit or cancel the reservation. He has emailed twice re "progress", I've emailed thanking him for keeping me updated. Come 3rd week in Feb, he will be left with car, a car he has told his manager that is sold. Hope he gets a boot in the goolies lol. No wonder people have passionate dislikes for car salesmen/women. Anyways, moving on. Present chariot is Captur gt line auto diesel, great car, only moan is rock solid seats. Changing to Kadjar I've a good idea what I'm getting. I'm sure you and Kadjar will get along fine. Just watch for sneaky well trained charlatans re delivery dates. Cheers Andy
@@parahandy6251 I always go straight and deal with Renault, will never ever go to a car dealer as such. With Renault this is my 3rd car and the beauty is they cant and wont spin you a story because they are made accountable, especially to head office Renault. Deal with Renault directly in future a lot less hassle.
@@sebastianbolt6905 Renault themselves are not much better. Salesman wanted to do application over phone. When I pointed out this was not possible, he apologised for his mistake..hmmm. In my experience, it doesn't matter who you are dealing with, they are all car salesmen, deperate to move metal at any cost (preferably highest), and will fill you full of bs. Be aware, be judgemental, don't get sucked in.
Love the look of that kuga, i'm abit sulky because i can't quite afford the mark 2.
i got the 2020 nissan 1,3 petrol love it
Is it possible to see a review between Renault Kadjar and Nissan X trail?
No because they are in different size classes so not comparable
The Ford Kuga is called the Ford Escape in the US where I’m from
Before watching 1)kadjar 2)qashqai 3)kuga
1 qashqai
Nissan Qashqai ❤❤
Are we going to see any pick up review?
I wish we had a diesel in the Qashqui in Australia, our only engine is the 2.0 petrol
Cool vid
I vote for kuga before watching the video.
Did i miss the Fuel consumption comparison or was that not covered??
0:08 no doubt qashqai has the best looking
Very useful
Qashqai Kadjar Kuga
I don’t get the hate for the Kuga/Escape, it’s a sharp looking vehicle.
My mom has a 2014 Escape/Kuga 2.5 and it’s a great driving little car. It’s not fast or sporty, but it handles very well and the interior has lots of features for the money. Comes standard with Bluetooth, usb, SD card, aux, backup camera, and nice multifunction display in the instrument cluster.
A true petrol-head Nissan is garbage
A true petrol-head I'm confused cos I've driven all three of these cars and the Kuga is by far the best to drive
Yes it looks good but it’s a very dated car with an interior way behind the rest of the competition, as Mat says in the review
A true petrol-head are you broken? This isn’t a 1990s car it’s a 2018 car and it is dated? What is your point?
We have a 2017 Reg Kadjar Dynamic N Auto 15 diesel, I have had it now 5 years, at least 55 miles to the gallon general and town driving, road tax is £20, insurance very cheap, ULEZ compliant, depreciation is very small as it is not made anymore and is very desirable for people who want to do long journeys without worrying about the battery needing recharging. Big enough for a large dog in the boot. Just had a Qashqai as a courtesy car...its OK but glad to get the Kadjar back.
I have the same car - has done 67k miles and was going to chop it in for an MG HS but I just can't do it. I average around 58 MPG on motorways and the MG will return around 32. Im just going to stick with the kadjar and run it into the ground
@@andywilliams8563 nice to know we both picked the right car. We will be doing the same.😊
@@Julie36285 100% - i was offered 9k on trade in agianst an MG HS which was 19k. but i can't justify getting rid of the car and handing over 10k in cash for something I love driving. Needs timing belt doing next year but touch wood ive had no issues at all with the kadjar.
Nissan is awesome, Kuga look good too i like it🙌🙌
center console in ford kuga looks like a storm trooper
why you don't test peugeot 3008 ? with some other suv-s
So which one is better , Qashqai or Suzuki S cross ?
make one with the vw Tiguan
Qashqai for sure!!
