Drop test comparing the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max to see which phone is more durable. The Note 20 series are the first smartphones to feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
TEST NOTES:
- All standard drops are conducted from 1m onto a concrete surface.
- All bonus drops are conducted from 1.45m onto a steel surface (to test impact resistance).
- After each round, we go through a 15-point inspection checking the functionality of the hardware and sensors (GPS, compass, charging, speakers, buttons, etc.)
- The scoring system is a modified 10-point must system, where the winner of each round always scores a 10 and the loser scores anywhere between 6-9 (depending on the difference).

im sure the reason the back cracked was the camera bump caused all the pressure on one side of the back.

@Ghotyo Locanisyn youre right. i just watched another video similar comparison and it cracked on first hit, whilst the iphone lasted alittle longer. but in the end the galaxy had less shatters. so yes the galaxy is overall stronger but it doesnt mean it wouldnt crack on first hit. thats more about luck.

This test was in a controlled labratory or what ever you're suposed to say. So it could explain why it didnt crack? Since there was no dirt or sharp surfaces where the note was dropped on.

I am amaze how you brought us the idea of how strong this phones were. And here I am still watching on your videos, holding my breath hoping it will still survive. I was actually felt very sad knowing that it cant be touched or seen by me personally, for those phones are so expensive. If given a chance, I would actually use this phone for good reason. And hoping that even a small portion of your blessing could give me an opportunity to bridge my dream. This phone could actually address our needs in online class for we only use one phone for it and we are 8 students: 2 college, 2 high schools and four elementaries...we are born in less fortunate family but we are still thriving to make our goals happen. Drops on flat surfaces don't generally break the note 20s glass. But if you drop it on the edge of something with a small point of impact on the glass. That would break any phone

I think the new glass is always better than the previous one, but the manufacturer could reduce the thickness, or the difference isn't so drastic as to surpass the threshold of cracking. Asphalt is a very hard material, after all.

I've dropped my note 9 about 5 times a week since the day it came out [no case].... cracked back glass, front glass is perfectly fine.... must be something in the design if i had to guess
My note with a case took quite a bit of punishment from drops. After the case came off though. I laid on it and it cracked the screen. Then it fell out of my lap and the back casing broke. Had it for 2½ years at the end of its life It broke. Traded it for a note 20 ultra. So far so good
