Nobody he'd faced in that early career had more losses than wins and none were middle aged UFC fighters making their pro boxing debut. Mike Tyson fought nobodies for his first few fights, but the fact is he flattened the first 19 men to step in the ring with him as a pro. Tommy Fury is not even close to being in the same boat as the other two regardless any other Legends. 4 of Fury's 10 opponents had never won a match in their life (His first opponent has lost over 100 times, his second has lost all 35 of his fights, his third has won 2 of his 50 fights, his fourth had won 1 of his 69 fights, his fifth has lost all 26 of his fights, his sixth is the first he faced with a winning record of 6-4, his seventh has only went 2-1 since facing him against bums and KZheadrs, his eighth the second he faced with a winning record of 10-1 at the time, his ninth being Paul and his last opponent was KSI in a fight where both men should've been disqualified for putting on such a shit show where rabbit punches and clinching were the norm all night.) It’s extremely tactical and cerebral , it’s called the sweet science for a reason. You can’t just jump into this and think that you’re going to hit the ground running against the very best. Respect to mma, as it takes courage for any fighter to put their health and reputation at risk when they step in to the ring or octagon to fight. People need to stop talking like Francis represents the best technical ability no one ever ever in MMA said that, infact in MMA hes been known as the wreckless super dangerous guy. Cyril Gane only 9-0 when he faced Ngannou for the belt and absolutely pieced Ngannou up on the feet pretty much from the get go and that was mostly with his hands.. so lets not pretend it takes Anthony Joshua to expose striking flaws, because a 9-0 MMA fighter did that, Francis had to wrestle to win that fight, legit was 100% going to lose if he continued to stand and bang. He was barely landed a punch on Cyril and was getting hit with combos no problem. That said Francis would absolutely fucking delete Anthony Joshua in MMA, hope you know that. Even without wrestling. Francis has insanely powerful leg kicks and its very very well known in MMA that if you try and straight box you get taken down easily, hence why even good boxers perform worse boxing in MMA. Look at Khabib vs McGregor, everyone can agree McGregor has better hands and timing, yet Khabib the wrestler rocked conor and dropped him, because in MMA its WAY WAY harder to defend against punches when theres like 30 more attack vectors than there is in boxing. You cant fight like a boxer or else you lose, you can do constant boxing stuff, just have to constant adjust.

And anyone who has ever competed knows that striking in boxing compared to mma is a completely different game. As it would have been Aj lying there unconscious if it were in the mma world. • And in a sense, boxing does owe him. He brought more eyes to the sport. Plus if he can crossover to boxing. Why can't a top heavyweight boxer crossover and fight him in mma? That would be the fairest thing in my view! Let see what happens when the likes of Anthony Joshua or Tyson get into the octagon with Francis Ngannou?

    • @@HaachitiNgandu francis is gonna fight maybe once or twice in the PFL. then either PFL ends the contract or the org folds. PFL made a terrible decision in letting francis box first before they could get their moneys worth.

  • You must recruit a good coach, train hard for 6 months and face fighters from the scratch and surely within 2 years francis will become a great boxing champ. Surely he's got a strong mindset and he will overcome this loss and come back stronger 💪
