    • @@mathssrilanka It wasn't a matter of NATO/OTAN not being able to use them. They never applied to be members of NATO. You have to want to be in NATO before you can join. Whether Ukraine wants to become a NATO member if they win the war remains to be seen. First they have to formally request like Finland and Norway did after the invasion. Then all the member nations have to agree to admit them. My guess is that, considering what Russia has done to them, they'll want to join, especially since NATO has been giving them so much help. I'm sure they won't be choosing India where the press has been spewing Russian propaganda non-stop. Get your facts right. NATO had nothing in or to do with Ukraine before the war, other than the US sharing some intel that said that Russia was about to attack. NATO is still not in Ukraine, and probably won't be. The Ukrainians are wanting to fight their own fight, and the NATO countries are just fine with that. They are supplying Ukraine with weapons to defend against an unprovoked Russian invasion. Russia is the aggressor in this thing, and they are committing war crimes a a vast scale against civilian populations. I'm going to assume that you're just poorly informed and have been getting bad information, because to side with Russia after all that they have done would mean you are a completely immoral person. I can tell from what you present as fact that you have bad information. I hope that you're spreading it because you don't know that it's false, not because you're siding with a morally bankrupt regime.

For anyone that hasn’t served in a mechanized or armored you have no real understanding of just how significant this is. Fuel, ammo, parts, recovery assets to move damaged vehicles to the rear for necessary repair quickly isn’t something you just put together in weeks or months. It takes much longer to train one of these organizations.

They take the father and beat him in front of their children. They catch people even at funerals. Meanwhile 66% of the western money for food rations went to private pockets - news this week. This fiasco is making Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and the boys very wealthy tax payers very poor. . So long as it continues there's every chance that the youth in the west will eventually get dragged in because the war is so asymmetric

  • ATACMS cost almost $1 mil each and might be able to be shot down - they are slow. But the Boeing and Saab developed GLSDB is on the way in BIG numbers. The Ground Launched Small Diameter Bomb is CHEAP, maneuverable and smart. It will be a game-changer. Maybe a few ATACMS for the Kerch bridge (again) - but the GLSDB has a 150 km range - it will work great!

This would eliminate the further delays caused by training only after grants of weapons, which Putin, and anyone Putin is backing in the west to cause delay, must be very pleased about.
