I'm never not disappointed by how Garbrandt lost twice to the snake in the grass after this. He could have gone on the biggest skid and I wouldn't care but to lose to the guy who became his arch nemesis, twice and once where he clearly had the tools to take the CEO of EPO apart but fought (either by choice or instinct) on pure emotion and threw his skills and head movement out of the window to brawl. Never fails to make me sad.

Nobody gave Cody a chance before the fight and he proved us all wrong
I honestly live and breath ur channel!! Love the work! Every post, pre- fight press conferences in ur videos are so worth the watch!
Imagine a rematch now, I think it would be a great fight!
Just wondering who do you think would win the rematch? Cruz would completely win. Ever since Cody fought T.J. and lost both fights he's never been the same.
@@kyliesmith7903 This Cidy definitely wouldn't show up he'd just be swinging wild hooks and looking goofy
@@kyliesmith7903they both suck, but Dom sucks a little less.
Cody would win again … it seems like Dom is the only person he trained to fight .
Cruz has no business fighting anymore. His knees are destroyed from surgeries. He can’t move like he used to. When I saw him get head kicked I was just like damn. Prime Cruz wouldn’t have let himself get caught like that but that’s the game man. He had a really good run.
Thanks Larone for once again posting a oldie but a goodie!! I appreciate you!
Keep that same energy with Jon Jones.. I bet you won't tho. Tj admitted to taking epo one time, and he was only caught once. Jon jones has tested positive 3 times now, and you will most likely call him the "goat" hahahah You're a joe rogan black nut hugger, just admit it
14:17 "He came back ! What's up Peewee" 😭 that was cold no lie
Man I miss this version of Cody 😔🙁
I mean, at 125 he was too depleted
@@ian1387g he was but it’s also because of his amateur boxing career. Too many repeated blows to the head, regardless of how he looked at 125; he just can’t take big shots anymore
Ever since Cody fought T.J. Dillashaw and lost both fights Cody hasn't been the same.
That scramble at 21:16 is a beauty
Cody had unlocked the ultimate state of combat flow for 20 mins of his life on this night.
Dom was and still is my favorite fighter and the UFC. He was the best Bantamweight to ever do it. But Cody was a beast. His confidence, punching power and accuracy was just on another level…..I’ll never forget this fight I wish I saw a rematch right away. I gave Cody no shot at winning but he shut me up.
Honestly it was Maddox that gave him strength for real.
Despite Cody’s downfall still one of the best stories in mma fr
@@jto3314 It is dope. Cody's fault is not physical or technical. Its what's between the ears. He has some of the best stats for speed and evasion but lowest stats possible in fight IQ since this fight. I think it broke him. I hope he turns it around, he's young enough. If Alistair Overeem could, so can Cody.
@@jesustappedfight IQ? I think it's closely related to his real IQ... Subtract even more points for the head trauma from fighting
Watching this Cody train for the fight is amazing I really hope he makes a comeback please get a W same with till I hope he comes back too sad to see fighters I love lose.
I feel like Till suffers from a lack of motivation and drive. He’s with Khamzat but it seems like they did more goofing around than actual training
I don't know how I've never viewed your channel before, but I'm glad I found it on this sleepless night. Very nicely edited highlights! I've enjoyed binge watching them! Thank you for the content.
Thank you for this
Complete and utter domination. Garbrandt giving cruz what he deserves
He literally won by 1 round bro lol. It wasn't a "domination"
RIP Benny Harvey GBNF, So long big fella
spoiling us with all these uploads brother
You make really good content. Keep it up 👍
YEEESSSS!!! Finally thank you Larone
His peak. We watched this man peak on live tv. Amazing performance
thank you for not putting annoying music over the fight highlights.
Crazy, it shows how sad this fight game is. Some have a long career. Some Peak early and fall off heard. Massive respect to any fighter.
Cruz had both his feet shot up to make them numb to get over the pain of standing. He already had alot against him that fight. Dom is a warrior. He's my favorite fighter. Pure badass.
Larones videos always slap cheers bro
keep these coming man
we need leon vs usman next keep it up videos are 🔥
This is the only ufc fight I’ve ever attended. I was sitting in the nosebleeds, and so tired and drunk that I thought it was a robbery when Cody won 😆
For one night only. We witnessed greatness.
Cody was on another level this fight. But, the way Dom handled the lose is even more impressive.
Cody won by a single round.
These fighters who can keep their emotions under control and knows there's a time and place for everything, Khabib Nurmagomedov, GSP, Dominic Cruz .
Best best down of all times!
135 division simply became too full of killers not long after this fight
That division from 2017-now is so stacked straight killers from 1-15
If Cody had shown this type of patience and defense while fighting Dillashaw I believe he would’ve definitely won those fights. TJ was living rent free in Cody’s head and he fought with no game plan.... In both matches with TJ he had pretty much zero head movement and went for a knockout with every hook....
Tj is a better fighter than Cody. TJ was the complete package bro. Wrestling, muy thai, amazing footwork, head movement, and power
That fight was so great Dominick stayed standing until after the press conference cause he got sat down so many times during the fight.
Cody has always had the skills. All of his losses since have been clear tactical mistakes. He can def make a comeback if he starts fighting smart again
lol his ko losses are all the exact same sequences bro. The guy has an african level iq
The Lord’s Work, Thank You Larone
Was never a big fan of Uriah as a fighter but he's such a good coach and friend , the vibe at Alpha male seems like family
Extraño a este cody 😓
This is one of the greatest title contender performances of all time
Banger video
Cody Garbrandt is a true fighter. Love him or hate his personality he wears his heart on his sleeve. Also top 3 fastest hands I’ve ever seen in mma.
shit they mine as well run it back🤷♂️ a fight that would get cody going and train, he’s on his last limb in mma such a sad downfall was and still is one of my favorite fighters. i always hoped and still do that he turns it around. cruz is still a solid contender and this fight could get him going too getting this one back from years ago would be a good feeling at this point in his career. love them both they both bantamweight legends 💪
“Mine as well” 😂😂😂 remedial.
This was such a legendary performance by Cody. I still have hope for him to revive his career. I know he likely won't come close to the belt again but hopefully he can get some more wins
He won by a round you act as if he dominated lol. Did you really even watch the fight?
Also, he can’t revive his career lol. He was trained to barely beat one fighter in Cruz.. he will get absolutely dismantled by merab, O’Malley, yan and aljo. He just literally has no chance. Sorry bro
I honestly think you guys just listened to joe Rogan, who is high 24/7, say “it was the best title challenger performance of all time” lol it wasn’t bro. Tj dillashaw vs barroa 1… I think you should watch that
@@johnjohnsonstein8409bro relax lmao
For once Rogan was wrong… there’s no way that headbutt caused that cut on Cruz’s eye.
The best bantamweight performance ever
Cody was right, that was the best 25 minutes of his life
Dominik cruz is a hall of famer for sure
This would make for a fun rematch.
Cody ain't even ranked , Cruz is still in the top 10 , makes no sense now
@@drunkenmmamaster419 Just was saying the idea of it sounds fun. Doubt cruz is gonna go for a title run at his age and state in his career.
@@CornkakeIt's just a shame we didn't get Cruz vs Aldo before it was over .
If they were to rematch who do you think would win? I think Cruz would completely win. Unfortunately Cody's not been the same since he lost both fights against T.J Dillashaw. He just completely went down hill. I don't think Cody ever developed his fighting IQ.
One of the craziest performances I’ve ever watched. Cody peaked here
Cruz is the most relaxed guy ever🙌🫠🔥 I’m talking cool, calm and collected🙃
Garbrandt sold his soul to the devil for this 1 fight. World class performance
But even if he did, he would always be the angel’s champion ❤
Who told you that
@@tonyelcucuythebogeymanferg4707 idk just making stuff up
He's not a rapper or actor......did Cody through up any masonic symbols?......NO😂😂it would be very clear if he sold
@@Hccxddfyujm bro…who tf said anything about rapping? The dude was just saying it as a joke…probably
“What’s up peewee” ffs😂
It’s BACK
WHAT HAVE WE DONE TO DESERVE THIS MUCH CONTENT?
If I could choose one fighter for one fight to be the greatest performance ever it would be Cody that night he beat Cruz! End of discussion. That was the greatest performance I’ve ever witnessed.
I dont think newer fans understand how massive this was. Dom was the mastermind of arguably the best division at that point. Nobody rlly expected Cody to do what he did. And the ppl that did are liars
I always said Cody could beat Dom, but I was thinking more of a split decision, close fight sort of thing loool
another example of time being the undefeated gatekeeper
Anyone know what the green stuff at 12:15 is? I know he puts epsom salt, but what’s the green liquid?
Sucks that Dom absolutely destroyed Cody in the trash talking aspect, but ended up losing the fight.
No. It doesn't.
Hoe does it suck Dom was talking out of his ahh and got danced on😂
Man Dom was so sharp in the trash talk and just fell flat on his face on fight night if he would’ve pulled off a dominant win that would’ve been some of the best Trash Talk of all time
The Rematch for UFC 300👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏼
Cody was really emoting out there
when was this fight?
At 4:34, is that BKFC brawling gal, Bec Rawlings sitting across the table from Cruz? Always fun watching her in that promotion.
21:35 takedown by Cody nice
This dude larone is a legend
I swear I thought Larone already uploaded this video before ? Mandella effect I guess lol
Sure he did
21:56 the first wild fury Cody has thrown that would eventually be his downfall
My favorite fight outside of Jon taking Lyoto to the afterlife!
10:15 could someone tell me what this is called very interested
1:20 "Mustard! Mustard! Mustard!" I love mustard too
Too bad Dom got injured in 2012 and was out for many years. He would have been one of the most dominant title defenders of all time.
cody really was one of those short kids in high school that would call any kid f-aggot every single day but would be scared of the jocks because he's shorter than tom cruise 😆and when they'd say f you he'd swing and miss and lose alot of fights lol. Dude has the biggest RISE AND FALL story in UFC history was the champ then lost to TJ then decided to just swing and not have any tactical striking and got knocked the fuck out alot switched weightclasses and now is just a journeyman all within like 5 or so years it's crazy how far he's slid they should call him NO GAMEPLAN now.
It wasnt a headbutt that caused the cut, It was the kick to the face!!
cruz was more worried about his dog then the fucking fight hahaha
In an alternate universe Cody did a performance like this and went on to beat TJ and establish himself as the undisputed bantamweight GOAT.
Joe "HE HURT HIM" Rogan
also, this fight shows what vera was talking about regarding cruz's boxing
7:18 was that not an illegal knee by TJ? Or both of Cruz’s hands weren’t down?
Best taunts ever
Larone w that fire
Keep your fling on a string 😂
One could argue Cody was TBE at 135 during this fight.
woah
14:22 “ who da fockk is that guy “
“Let’s see how Cody does with it… This is a hard game to win, it’s even harder to stay on top.” Damn.
