To anyone who didnt realize, charles dance narrates this, the actor who played tywin lannister in game of thrones, i started laughing outloud when he said "offspring and the bloodline is all that matters" cause i was like "hes literally tywin lannister lmao". Such a joy to listen too.
i spent a few minutes remembering that voice
youre so dumb:))
When the baby leopard Neo crawled up the tree I was so proud of him🥹
feel sad for Neo's sister! she seemed a bubbly little soul. RIP
Fear is something, it can be the reason you survive or die most of the time die, the reason gowerments rule
Charles Dance, is one of the best narrators and my favorite.
Charles Dance narrating this makes this even more entertaining
Saba is a great mother and a queen
She really is!
WORKING MOTHER, GOD BLESS YOU
Absolutely! That's exactly what she is..
The Phantom Assassin ~ 💯% describes Saba to a tee!!!
This was amazing Both mother and Son Rip for the daughter
I cried my eyes out
His voice is perfect for narrating wildlife documentaries 😍!
2:15 the ways she disappeared into that tall grass. Ultimate predator!
That was so badass
Hats off to the magnificent Cinematographers and all involved in producing this doco.
One of the best ever. Right up there with eternal enemies. Even the follow up seasons to savage kingdom don’t compare to this epic documentary. I love how they did this. With each episode providing the different view point of the same scene from one of the four species they focused on. There is a great symposium somewhere on here with one of the producers. The guy who was responsible for filming the saba over months and months. He said she became so comfortable with him being around that when he pulled up she would come lay under his truck for shade. He said it took a while. But there was one point at night where he felt a crawling like feeling on his calf. He looked down and it was her smelling his leg. Anyhow. He had lots of great stories. If you look up the producers names, you could prob find it in a search here on YT. Edit: I looked it up. Brad Bestelink. It’s a five or six part talk he does.
Love these leopards. She is beautiful and strong . So amazing wildlife .
The power of a mother is amazing
incredible amount of anger and anguish the leopard mom showed while licking her dead cub
The leopard eating birds is genius Lions don't come looking for bird kills
9:42 aren't those just the sweetest little leopard cubs?! Too cute. Good luck little guys, dangerous world, listen to your mother!

Stunning leopards! Wise Son .. remaining hidden saved his life! The princess on the other hand went wandering..poor thing. n poor rival! I Honestly don't like hyenas n wild dogs! She prevailed with her son! Thanks for video! Great narration!
I loved all these Savage Kingdom series but this one gave me goosebumps 🥲🙌
Saba is a force to be reckoned with she's a female princess warrior absolutely stunning smart powerful leopard 🐆 💖 Thank you for this amazing footage National geographic best documentaries ❤ 😀
She will end up like her rival. That is the most common end of these big cats, sadly.

“If ‘Torn Ear’ finds your cubs, she will kill them. You would do the same.” Saba: Stop tellin me what to do bro
Yh it's sad and annoying but it's just reality
Charles Dance is excellent actor. And perfect narrator for this series.
This narrator is amazing Does anyone else think he sounds like Tywin Lannister?
I do
He is Tywin Lannister. Charles Dance.
Really rooting for the momma
A TRAGIC YET TRIUMPH AND FULL OF COURAGIOUS MOMENTS FOR SABA,WHAT A MOM,IM SO INTRIGUED BY HER INTENT AND STRONG WILL TO LIVE AND LIVE FOR HER CUB,,,,SO EXPLOSIVE WITH SUCH A CHALLENGE TO JUST SURVIVE, GOD BLESS THE SAVAGE KINGDOM BUT TO THE LEOPARDS AND LIONS MY HEART GOES OUT,

Love the mood, atmosphere created through the narrator’s voice. Kool!
Every wild animal has its own beautiful and astonishing story.
I really like the way this series is narrated. Leopards are my favorite of the big cats. I guess because I can relate to them most.
how so?
Same here brother that’s my spirit animal I fw Lions but I legit relate to the lifestyle of a leopard
@@mikegoodreau9588 being solidarity reliant on your own skills, independent by nature you could say
@@ivyngarner8905 why a leopard though ? There’s plenty of cats / big cats that r like that as well. Maybe cuz they look cool ?
@@fernando_4277 you are right but out of all the big cats leopard is unique especially because it’s the smallest of the big cats but the most successful and adaptable big cat even more than jaguars despite how similar they are they aren’t the biggest strongest or brawlic and people can relate to them cause Leopards jus like humans have to pick and choose their battles wisely and despite their size and the fact that they are alone they contend with some of the most fierce hunters ( Wolves, bears, Tigers, Lions and hyenas) yet still the most successful big cat
My God this documentary is amazing
God is amazing for sure! Our Creator is terrifying and awesome
Amazing these documentary stories come for circle because the lioness that killed her cubs had her own cubs killed by her own pride
Wildlife is just naturally and truly Amazing.... Survival of the fittest and best instincts.... Great Documentary....!!!!
"Squeak! squeak! squeak!... and other wild dog noises.."
I love big cat documentaries. Especially leopard and cheetahs. They are majestic and beautiful creatures
The leopards the cheetah and the lions are mynfavorite but elephants are interesting too. Also the dogs and the hyena heirarchy very intriguing
One of the best Nature vid's. I've ever seen, ty,ty.
Saba is admirable. I love Saba
The Kingdom shows mercy, the Dogs pass like a bad dream😩
I truely wish, no...no.I shall aspire to attain, that either, Christopher Hitchens or Charles Dance, should narrate my inner dialog, adding to it, naturally, their own observations. What a treasure to me this would be. TY, NG, for your outstanding Nature videos
So many animals in the savannah rely on numbers. But the leopard is such a magnificent animal to thrive among these various pack species, as lone hunters. Leopards are my favourite animals. They are so impressive.
Now this was a good episode👏🏽 had me on suspense the whole show 😫so sorry she lost her daughter but Neo gonna be King 💯good job Momma 🦾🦾👑🧨🧨🧨
Neo will probably end up stealing prey from his mother if he doesn’t move away far when he’s old enough.

I love watching nature and wild life videos. They are so enjoyable telling the way animals lives and survive.
Poor poor Sabaa’s little daughter. 😢 that just broke my heart that she was killed. If I were out there in the film crew I would’ve totally jumped in to save her. And poor “Cut Ear” too, and that poor little grass cat. I know it’s considered irresponsible but I wouldn’t be able to control myself. 🐾🐾🐾

The Narrator Gives Me GooseBumps The Way He Narrates
The greatest narrator of all time
Oh thank goodness the little guy is ok! What a good momma! Eat good little one and momma!
Love these documentaries. I'd like to know how the cameras get so close without disturbing the animals. I get they use drones but the ground shots that follow them, well just stunning.
it’s crazy how advanced technology has become
Zoom
They have cameras now that can tape almost 3_4 miles away, plus these rangers and producers have been in these animals life's since they were babies, following them and learning about them so the animals by now are very comfortable with them that's why in lion and lionesses videos they walk right past the people recording some animals after having babies will bring their babies around them to show them off ,
They use specific lenses from far away…
The reality of life isn't always pretty but its a little surprising how removed so many are about the food chain survival of the fittest.. Great educational documentary!

Leopard are perfection
Even today the very best of all Documentaries. Savage Kingdom serve not just brilliant Pictures but also intense Familystories and heartbreaking moments. Mr. Dance make this Story complete with his clear, speaking, finding cool words for dramatic scenes - and best of all we see not just Lions, Leopards or Hyenas, each with a whole Familystory, the intruduction of these Buffalos, the warthog, that runs for his live, turning into pieces in seconds by Wilddogs... Cant find anything like this! Thank you again and again!
Love this documentary!!!! The amount of time and expertise is amazing!!!

I must also appreciate the beauty of our world and all creatures. What a wonderful world. Whether you believe in climate change or not, I hope we can all agree that we must protect the earth and all creatures for generations to come.
I am Life and I am death, I give everything but I take all. I have no mercy for the weak, no room for the eerie, and no place for cowards. My territory is filled with lone fighters and functions but all are killed for one purpose, to further their bloodline. I am The Savage Kingdom.
Very good narration.
(Deep voice) Well I am neither of these things. I am, an accountant, yet I am a savage at balance sheets, for I will roam and I shall sit, I will drink coffee and I shall surf the internet, but all this for one purpose, entertainment..
Charles Dance adds a certain touch to it

NAT GEO Has an uncanny ability of making this cat look like Denzel Washington!

Amazing story. Thank you
A top genre with medium ad soaks.
26:54 It's just amazing how respectful the lion placed down the dead leopard cub, I always imagined them to just throw it into the grass.
The way I interpreted this is the lion did that to rub it in Saba's face. "what are you going to do about it?"
Nothing about that indicates "respect". You are reading too much into the situation.
@@commonsense1527 Not really, I get their point of view. I’ve seen documentaries of lions tearing Cubs apart or tossing them in the air, playing with them while they still alive catching then realizing it again and again. Eating them in front of the mothers. Typically it happens with males and adolescent groups. So compared to that I’d say it respectful. Well as respectful as killing a cub can be.😂
@@ginnyweasley8665 There's nothing to indicate that the lion believes laying the cub down would be more respectful than tossing him in the air or playing catch n' release with him. It seems that people are projecting their own feelings on the lion when they assert that he's acting with that intent.

We cannot let those majestic animals disappear! A world without leopards is not going to be the same! We have to protect their habitats!
I fully agree
The music for this was beautifully done
I just wish the male leopard would stay and help raise their young like wolves do. In that situation the male and female may have been able to fend off the lone female lion long enough to save the cub.
Hjjjjnnn.mnnjjjjjjjjj
I think a male leopard would be actually enough bc he doesn‘t need to kill the lioness he only needs to fight her until she has enough
The narrator sounds like Charles Dance. I think he may have been in the Dracula movie along with Luke Evans. And I also think he was a vampire in the 4th Underworld movie with Kate Beckinsale. 🙂 I think the Nat Geo Wild people made a good choice for the series.
It's charles dance
Saba had to get it out the mud! Literally.
That was a big fish lol How Many fish did she get lol? Holy geeze. Stashing those lol

We need to do our part as humans to preserve and keep these precious kitties thriving. Even give back habitat if it comes to. Kitties lives matter
Humans have done way too much irreversible damage to nature to ever reach homeostasis in this world! Extinction is ours and ours alone as we slowly rid this planet of all life!
