  • She found her vector and followed that path perfectly, in the open but also in the blindspot of all around. Amazing stealth and awareness. Obviously she’s a predator so she’ll have these amazing skills but witnessing it is always awe-inspiring.

    • they're very hard to spot. Here in Kenya a guide in a park challenged me to find a leopard hidden in a tree and it took a few minutes before I was able to see the leopard

  • Leopards are savage. They hunt anything they think they can catch - and they can tackle a lot. They're - in relation to their weight - the strongest cat.

    • That's really not something special about leopards, that's almost universal among animals. The law of diminishing returns heavily affects strength and size among animals, like how an ant is insanely strong for its size, but at the end of the day we're just flat out stronger. Same thing with leopards, they are strong for their size but they would get absolutely demolished by a tiger or jaguar.

  • The most remarkable thing which many have failed to notice earlier is the way the leopard tries to move keeping with the same pace as the elephants, but only in the opposite direction, so as to appear a still boulder or a contour. The moment the elephants stop walking is the exact moment the leopard decides to halt as well! Now thats one hell of a brain

  • At 00:16 seconds when the leopard looks at the camera while crouching down to hunt it almost ignited a primeval feeling. Can you imagine going back to our early ancestors who lived in trees, and you look to the side and see that. It's almost like even through video we as a result of our evolution are programmed to find that terrifying deep down in our minds or hearts.

  • The great Jim Corbett of the 'The Man Eaters of Kumaon' wrote that leopards are so skilled that they will pick a person from the middle of dozens working in the field, kill and take away without any of the others knowing. They are incredibly strong, quiet and fast thinking. Super hunters.

    • @@dr.killmoretreeratologist8848 Baboons are neither good nor bad. They are simply animals (that I personally find good looking) that survive. Being also opportunistic they can adopt behaviors not very welcome to us. The problem is there are no more natural predators for balance their number And don't forget often cities are built where there are their ancestry territories so the intruders aren't them. It takes increase the individual numbers of leopards and cheetahs

    • From another video, leopards run at 80 mph and baboons 40+ mph. So especially that young one was doomed.

  • omg look at that walk an inch above ground what a superb agilityi t's not a chameleon but in that environment his tan, the ground color and the sun burnt leaves and roots , ita a perfect combination camouflage, that's why no one saw him coming.. amazing. only with what nature povided him no guns no changing coat, , just agility , his coat and the fangs. superb.

    • Baboons are pretty nasty, the big males pose a real threat to even adult leopards, so attacking without the ability to disappear into the darkness is pretty bold
