    • @@MichaelAnderson-jo8iq I think your right, he did a fine job. Hey he's no James Earl Jones, who does a fantastic job as well no doubt. The other commenter is entitled in her opnion, but honestly it's not anything she mentioned. I've heard some bad ones, but being that this is a National Geographic Documentary, they would not hire a "Crindge-Fest" narrator as she put it, and stopping after 5 minutes is only her loss. Same for the other commenter 🤷‍♂️

Lions will eat their prey alive as well while one lion is suffocating the prey could take as long as 30 mins where the wolf dogs only take a few seconds to kill their prey from the constant attacks and their preys adrenaline will be pumping so they won’t feel as much pain as being suffocated by a lion and eaten by other lions at the same time !!

  • I sometimes wonder what happened to the thousands of wildlife documentaries that I have watched over my lifetime. I have found some that have been uploaded to KZhead but not a drop in the bucket compared to all that have been made. Heck take the 90’s alone when the Discovery Channel was exactly that discovery. Ocean and land wildlife documentaries just from the 90’s alone would be a treat to see them all again. Ok got that out of the way……Savage Kingdom, great series.

Me myself was also in the game industry for 17 yrs and you never get tired of the creation of God. To be one with them but also have the knowledge that you are on there turf are just great. The whole movie was again an eye opener of what we as humans can learn from them.

  • This channel has changed a lot. Watched in the 90’s. Feels very staged in its production. Narration seems very exaggerated and theatrical. Suggestive, almost. Fascination and amazement Used to derive from learning about the animal-life struggle. The ‘300’ style orchestral stylisation and seductive tonal qualities of commentary seem to focus more on the aesthetic and mellow dramatic. Maybe its just me lol
