Yeah you look like them I agree
@@wasupman777What the fuck? What the hell does that even mean? Where’s this shit coming from?
We dont like cold
You mean "how @annak9646 react in being in the rain" i live in a country within the equator and it gets hot as hell here. I prefer the rain than to melt
@@user-ee6lk1pb6w … What? Lots of people react to the rain with mild discomfort. It’s, like, a super common thing. This isn’t exclusive to her at all, you just live in a hot place. And even then, I’m sure people don’t enjoy being wet and soggy while walking home where you’re from.

She protected her eye so she could see where she was going

@@p.e.p2368I thought they could go in and out
Why didn't they leave it so they could get back in?
Fascinating to watch, at length, a group of gorillas and see how they interact. Also, seeing them walk on two legs like us you can see how close to us they are. I was watching to see how they communicated with each other, expecting almost a sign language between them but they are very quiet compared to chimps. The way the daughter who didn’t like the rain held her hand up over her face as she ran inside. The way they pushed the door back up or even held it open for others to pass through. Truly amazing to see and I thank you for sharing this 🙏🏻👏🏻❤️🇬🇧
It's so interesting how Shabani holds out his hands to check how hard the rain is falling, like we do as humans. Edit: falling not failing lol
02:50 is AMAZING when Annie does this "Oh who, me? I'm just sitting here doing nothing" sit. Such a human thing to do.
I think because she was staring at the alpha, then realized she made a huge mistake when he noticed. Hense why the other gorilla realized this and ran off as well 😅
In gorilla behavior, direct eye contact is considered a sign of aggression or a challenge.
I find them so fascinating & quite beautiful!
I never felt more relatable...Annie gets upset and then eats some sort of vegetable. Stress eating.....not just for humans.
Omg that little run Annie did😂😂😂 same, girl, same
I could watch them for hours. Their eyes….so interesting to watch their eyes and their expressions. Simply beautiful ♥
Watch them in the wild, not in a zoo! It breaks my heart to see these beautiful, intelligent, emotional animals living in captivity! Zoos must end! Leave the animals in the wild where they belong. No zoo can provide a truly natural habit with enough space to roam free. Keeping an intelligent animal locked in an exhibit is like keeping them in a prison. They are innocent and they deserve to be free!
@@thetruepatriot7733 listen, I agree with you WHOLEHEARTEDLY…however, the tragic reality is that “humans” (monsters) are poaching them for their hands and heads for disgusting rituals. Their habits are being consumed..again..by “humans”….even in national preserves such as those in Africa - with armed guards - the elephants, giraffes, lions, tigers, are mercilessly poached. I can only see what is visible in the video, and captivity is a horrific “solution”…but is appears that this gorilla enclosure does provide a “healthy” clean and safe environment. No substitute for the wild…but it’s becoming increasingly difficult to preserve and protect these gorillas - and all wildlife - from the vile selfish beings that are labeled “human”.
@@thetruepatriot7733 I completely empathize with you but unfortunately, this wonderful species are endangered. The only true way to make sure gorillas don't become extinct is because of human interference. (Well, the good kind who want to make sure they survive.) In the wild, their homes/habitat are being destroyed, they are hunted down and are on the verge of extinction. I wish this wasn't the only way to make sure their species doesn't die out. In my opinion, though, they seem to not mind at times and seem content. (At least the Shabani family seems to.)❤
@@pigtailsandteddybears You are absolutely correct. Without zoos gorillas would eventually go extinct. Zoos play a critical role in what's called a "Species survival plan" which ensures that they don't go extinct. Zoos work hard to maintain enough genetic diversity within captive populations so that if and when it becomes necessary to have to re-establish wild populations post-extinction, that it will be possible to do so. Also, gorillas in zoos are not caught from the wild. Most of them are born in zoos, the main exception being sometimes a wild born baby gorilla whose mother died or was killed by a poacher. A baby gorilla in the wild without it's mother will die - period. It's not as if zoos are going around stealing wild gorillas though - zoos are the good guys.

No.😂
I loved their attitude with the wonky door! This is quite annoying, however, no problem, let’s sort it. Shabani has a really excellent bipedal walk. My favourite days as a zoo member (Metro Toronto Zoo), were heavy rain. Fewer guests watching the animals, (who are often quite different with crowds, some animals really like watching the people, too!) do their thing. What a wonderful troop these are.

The bipedal walk is hilarious
I like how Shabani walks, it's cute
Ai is definitely an attentive mother even with Annie being hand reared as a baby. I think that's the distinction with Annie she needs alot of attention. It's beautiful that Ai is still protecting her being the zoo keepers had Annie as a baby. Most Gorrila mothers detached after 8 years old but then again Ai has not became pregnant. Those are the times primates detach when another sibling enters the picture. In the wild Annie would of moved out the troop to find her a mate.
It's bit surprising they haven't moved Annie to have her own family (though I'm not sure how old she is so maybe she's too young still) but so far it seems to be working fine where she is.
@@teijaflink2226 she's was old enough at 8 to have children but because Kiyomasa and Shabani are blood related it will be bad. They try to mate but it's never successful, they need to remove her just like you said. In the wild female primates find troops or communities to have family's to avoid inbreeding.
Ive always wondered if Ai knows Annie is her daughter. Or Ai being even keeled, just grew close to her naturally?
They are so fascinating to watch... They are just humans but in a different form as far as I am concerned. A few million years from now they may be the next step for mankind... Who knows? But I love how you can see their bonds and how they emotionally care for each other... Beautiful... ❤
Evolution 😂
I just love them. I feel over the years they haven't been treated like the majestic animals they.are. please stop the poaching for there sake, for the people who love them
Not too many times will you see a primate at 5'11 and 418 pounds/190 kg walk upright and easily like Shabani. Thanks for taking the time to share these videos👍
Such beautiful creatures. I love these videos. My fiancé hates the videos because it creeps her out how human like they behave. This kind of thing to me is proof alone that evolution is absolutely the true theory of human existence
It's actually really sad that we keep them in cages because of how close we are in relation to each other.
Why does it creep her out? The normal human reaction is to be amazed or loving towards an animal that displays such human characteristics
What a fantastic recommendation. These are truely amazing animals and share so many personality traits with us. It's fascinating to see how they react to the rainy weather.

Another great video, thank you Japanese Zoo. Ai and Shabani waited for their daughter Annie to join them outside, so caring. Wish the girls would not put the ropes around their necks when playing, we do not want any accidents. 🙋♀️🦍🇬🇧
Agree! Gorilla Boy, Tatu from Prague always liked the ropes and would often put the rope around his neck. When other Gorilla adults saw that, they would stop him. Sadly, he must have woken early one morning as others slept, he went to play alone and must have put the rope around his neck and hung himself. By the times the Keepers came in, he was already dead. The Adult Gorillas, ( Mainly his close Aunt, Kamba ) were very upset & desperately tried to get him down. Gorilla Aunt, Kamba was very upset and would not allow the staff near him, they had to spray her with a hose to get to Tatu. He was my favorite Gorilla-boy. I still miss his gentle, funny and sweet personality. I wonder now where he would be, no doubt he would have been the best Dad as he was such a protective, patient, affectionate and sweet big brother to baby Kiburi. It can happen. @@BeegirlsHoneyHouse , Thank you for this kind & beautiful comment. Some friend posted his picture for the anniversary of his death. Many commented and love and miss this sweet boy very much. I'm "still" trying to find a video of Tatu. It was after Kiburi was born, and Tatu went to sleep with Kijivu but we know with the new baby, he gets Mom and other siblings must sleep elsewhere. Tatu was standing there, looking at Mommy with such a sadness and confusion in his little face. He tried to find a cuddle spot, but Mom had to protect the baby. As he stood back up looking down at mommy, Kamba came and grabbed Tatu. Kamba took Tatu and cuddled him, making his little heart happy. There was sound, it was black and white. Maybe the old 24 hour camera they had set up. It was a really touching video but, seems it is suddenly gone along with other videos I wanted to watch again. Some videos are now private or deleted. I have no idea where they are now. Figures, one of my favorite videos of my Sweet Boy. Maybe one day i will find it. Looked under soooo many pages, asked people, no one can find it.I think it was titled something like "Tatu's 1st night without Mommy" But, not sure. I found the one with Kiburi when Nuru was born, but Tatu one is gone. We know Moja was not happy to give up Kamba to Tatu. She was so funny. When Moja was jealous or mad she didn't hide it at all. She let whatever Gorilla piss her off know she was angry. She was a trip. Take care and thanks again sweetie!!
