It was a really long adventure.
We started this project in February 2022 and now we have finally managed to finish it.
Moving on to the specifics.
We used the most parts from the Suzuki gs500f racer.
The wheels are 15" in diameter and the frame is made of 60x60x2 and 30x50x3 mm square tubing.
The whole thing took a lot of work, thinking and money, but the end result is very nice.
We know that not everything is perfect and something can always be improved, but this is the first vehicle of this type on our channel so please be understanding :)

    • Other than it is a generator when it is not being used... Hopefully he factored that into his electronics.

  • Great work i miss building things like this .depending on how you ride this or were i used those motors in few projects and i would add some corner braces at your swing arm attachment point and front neck attachment points since i dont know wall thickness just for safety purposes if you plan on high speeds the amounts of factory frame ive broken is amazing some gussets go long way and that motoer can be a fun torquay motor with a few mods just as i get older and being busted up i value safety more now and can give small advice to anyone that will take it to not have pain i go through as they age is win keep up great work and have a wonderful day

  • Yes, a lot of work has been done, it turned out great. I myself build a trike on large wheels and I understand how much work is invested. put tires on it for meaner and you can drive through the fields. The potential of such equipment is great, I think I will see this device in your videos. Thank you for the video.

  • I built a similar trike here in the UK based on a Yamaha 600 diversion the difference is mine has rear suspension, a differential gear , outboard discs on both wheels, after riding it for 3 years I think it was trying to kill me! It is too short, has huge unsprung weight just to mention two problems. so it sits there now un ridden.

  • AMAZING BUILD!!! - This Trike is AWESOME!!!! - PLEASE WEAR A HELMET!!!! AND DO NOT GO CHEAP ON A NEW ONE!! - NEVER BUY USED HELMETS AND NEVER BUY ONE FROM CHINA!!!! I was confused about what the electric reverse was until I looked through some comments and someone mentioned it... then it made complete sense.... I though it was maybe a generator, but it wouldn't make much sense using the long lever to engage a generator...but using the lever tyo put it in reverse is INGENIOUS!!!! GREAT JOB!!!

  • The differential is a system that allows the drive wheels to turn at different speeds, which is required when the car is negotiating a turn. In a turn, the outside wheel must travel farther, which means it must travel faster than the inside wheels.

  • Interesting solution for reverse gear, but introducing too much chain resistance in the application and chain tensioner. But you definitely made a nice prototype to keep advancing. To stay safe: ADD FULL FENDERS on rear wheels. They are too close to you to be safe in a variety of scenarios. But I realize for showing the video you had to get it on the road to get an idea of quirks and adjustments. A separate chain ring (small) on the axle for an electric motor with reverse polarity capability might work as electric boost + reverse gear? Just a thought. But the main drive chain should have minimal deflection and resistance added for best fuel economy and performance.

  • Something I tell the machinists is, that once the metal starts smoking, it's possible that subtle changes because of the high temperatures can become crack initiators. Less speed in the drilling and some lube is much better to avoid failure specially in automotive parts. And dude, please, use some tincture spray with your marking tools. Prussia Blue. It's cheap.

  • A lot of nice work steps, but how does it steer? I mean, in a strong stock, it doesn't handle like a normal vehicle with safeties. You could just let a wheel run free and the behavior would change or you would have to use a differential. So far, very fun vehicle ;)
