Making Crazy Trike 250cc

2021 ж. 5 Жел.

I used a 250cc engine for buid, the engine has four forward gears and a reverse gear, the wheels are derived from the quad bike, the front is from the motorcycle. I bought all the parts used from auction sites.
I have no experience in building such vehicles, so the work on this trike motorcycle took some time, but the end result is satisfactory, riding this motorized trike is great fun :)

  • The definition of "Industrial Duty" is: "Workshop From Scratch". This is the channel to watch for learning the correct way to do the job. This chassis could easily handle 350cc, 450cc or even more. I'll give you a perfect 100% score! When watching someone this good at what he does it is important to take note of the things he does not fabricate from scratch. The lathe work to fabricate the gas cap, for example, exceeded his time value, his time is worth $$$, better to just buy one and bolt it on his beautiful tank. A quick mod to a generic brake pedal was much easier than building one from scratch. Well done! P.S. Head tube design and fabrication puts you miles above the rest!

  • That positioning of the brake caliper will make it difficult to bleed. You could stick it on the opposite side closer to the engine or you could also crack the banjo bolt to bleed it. It’s not how it’s supposed to be done but bleeding it out the banjo bolt will be easier.

I would ride as fast as I could, then hit the coaster brake, and while balancing on one leg, turn the handlebars, and spin in circles on the asphalt road ! The profile from your Trike, was much the same as my bicycle ! Boy did I get the look's ! Lol ! Hey.... what can I say ? Poor people have poor ways ! That was some 56 year's ago ! Thanks for the memories ! And congrats on a beautiful scooter ! ✌️😉

This is durable and easy to work on not space age leading edge tech. Performance costs more money and makes the build less fun and achievable for the viewers.
