China's GDP by purchase power parity is 30% more than US. Usually people dismiss GDP by PPP quickly because most of the time you still need to buy goods with USD from other countries. But because China's manufactures almost anything and everything, China's GDP by PPP is actually a more accurate reflection how big the economy is in China. And because things are usually 1/3 of prices in China, an average Chinese has an incredible purchasing power and quality of life than people would tend to imagine.

almost all auto makers have pretty much the same level of automation these days, its just a matter of which part of the assembly process you are filming. there can be no automation for laying wires inside the car or installing the doors things like that.

Well when gov wants EV, they can pour all the money they need. There are hundreds of failed Chinese car brands which took billions of dollar from gov. Sadly, Tesla is on its own, American was never into EV nearly ten years ago when Tesla was coming out with first gen model S and X. Tesla was on its own, and to achieve what they have today, I have to say, is way harder than these Chinese brands with gov supporting them from manufacturing, EV benefits, and charging infrastructure

Byd ev E6 model is used as taxis in Shenzhen China. The city public transportation is fully electric since 2017. These taxis have been running for the past 7 years clocking up hundreds of thousands of km in mileage. They are still running with the same battery.

There is no tech beyond the scooter space and battery tech for cars is decades behind. ROBOTS BUILDING CAR - I saw only might be less than 10 people including far distance. The Logo Attaching by Human was like "Made By Human" stamp taking credit of all hardworking robots.
I felt quite the oposite..it has a "Made by Robots" vibe rather than human, since robots has much better consistency and final product quality, and the logo is the "final touch" just for the video. It probably is also assembled by robots.

almost all auto makers have pretty much the same level of automation these days, its just a matter of which part of the assembly process you are filming. there can be no automation for laying wires inside the car or installing the doors things like that.

These new cars are not built to last. They are made in a cheap location with cheap materials and built by only robots. In ten years They will all be in junkyards and worth nothing. And this is good for the environment to be producing millions of these cheap cars that will only last a decade?
Byd ev E6 model is used as taxis in Shenzhen China. The city public transportation is fully electric since 2017. These taxis have been running for the past 7 years clocking up hundreds of thousands of km in mileage. They are still running with the same battery.

Spectacular. Cant even imagine an auto factory in India devoid of most workers and all manufacturing and assembly done by robots. There is no tech beyond the scooter space and battery tech for cars is decades behind. Even begging Tesla to come and build a cheap ( sic ! ) Rs 25 lakh entry level car for India is the only way to com up the curve to world class EV products .
