The Xiaomi SU7 represents a significant milestone as the debut battery electric full-size sedan from the renowned Chinese company Xiaomi. Manufactured under contract by BAIC Off-road in Beijing, this vehicle embodies Xiaomi's foray into the automotive industry.
Offering versatility, the powertrain of the SU7 presents two options to cater to varying preferences. One can opt for the rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration equipped with a 220 kW motor or choose the all-wheel-drive (AWD) setup boasting a maximum power of 495 kW (220 kW + 275 kW). The battery pack options include the LFP variant sourced from BYD for the more economical trim and the ternary NMC option from CATL for those seeking a higher-end experience.
In terms of performance metrics, the SU7 impresses with a curb weight ranging from 1,980 kg for the base model to 2,205 kg for the top trim. The vehicle's top speed is capped at 210 km/h for the lower trim and reaches an impressive 265 km/h for the highest trim level. Notably, the SU7 lineup comprises three versions: SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max, with select trims featuring an active rear wing for enhanced aerodynamics.
Under the hood, the electric motor model TZ220XS000, manufactured by United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., powers the SU7, complemented by advanced features like the ETC function. This system enables seamless toll payment on toll roads, enhancing convenience for drivers.
Inside the cabin, the SU7 boasts an in-car system powered by Xiaomi's proprietary HyperOS, an in-house developed operating system designed to seamlessly integrate with both smartphones and automobiles. Scheduled to commence mass production in December 2023, with deliveries slated for February 2024, the SU7 signifies Xiaomi's commitment to innovation and excellence in the automotive sector. Already, the BAIC Off-road Vehicle Co. factory in Beijing has initiated trial production of the SU7, with numerous test vehicles successfully rolling off the assembly line, signaling the imminent arrival of this groundbreaking electric sedan.

No, Criss Bungle didn't design the car, he was just a design consultant, and the max range is 830km.

The actual distance is 570±km, bro, and it must be achieved when 19-inch low-wind resistance wheels are installed. If it is just ordinary wheels, it will only be 480±km. Maybe the next generation SU8 or other Xiaomi cars using solid-state batteries will be able to reach 1,000km of driving range.

Tesla design is over ten years now and is starting to look a little old even though it was spectacular when it came out and in many ways us timeless. But year after year the same old same old people want new and fresh and this is it . The interior on this car is really premium compared to the minimalist cheap plastic interior of a Tesla

Pretty impressive interior! I have an M3LR built to a specific price. It works extremely well for my needs but it is minimalist. In my case, all the auto functions work just the way I want.....like all the time. So minimalist design works just fine for me. If Tesla built a car like this, it would probably cost 80 grand minimum. Still, I would like to to see it in the US.

The design is sport, looks solid and sharp. Though, I think we don't need to rush and buy the car. There are some concerns which we as drivers should take into account such as saftey, quality of the car, breaks, adaption to different envrioments, and other basic fucntions and features. Подстаканники алкоголя могли бы закрыть сдвигающейся крышкой, а сзади поместить их вовнутрь подлокотника, сделав выдвигающимися. На дисплее торпедо скорость и положение селектора выбора движения поменять друг с другом местами.

I'm just noticing that there are likeness to other older American car's. 🤔 Like the rear end looks like the rear end of the 2013 Lincoln MKZ. The front end looks like the McLaren 750 S. Well really the way the headlights are made. China has a problem with copying other ideas, and trying to make them there own. Still good job, and I hope that it runs as good as it may look. 😆😎
