  • I guess it's cool...but it doesn't have that gangster brown and white camo pattern like the old version. I give it a 3/10 based on this alone lol.

  • I absolutely love my CR Mod 0 - MK1! I use it in combination with thermal vision to weed out coyotes from my cattle & chickens as well as other misc. vermin that come along on the farm. I wasn't aware of these rifles until I had a buddy come out 1 night & we were taking the yotes down & he says "I got this new rifle my Grandpa bought me for Christmas, you gotta try this thing!" I fired a magazine through it & immediately told him "well tell pa-paw you need to know where he bought this at!" (His Grandpa is like a Grandfather to me as well we've grown up together for the past 32 years our families each have farms just down the road from each other so we're like adopted sons of each other's parents) after I told him he'd need to know where he bought it at he asked "whys that?" I told him "you're gonna need to know it to order you another 1 BC I'm buying this 1 tonight right now!" Of course that was an immediate NO! Since it was a gift from Pa-Paw but luckily Pa-Paw likes to come shoot yotes too whenever we take our custom van w/the roof removed & a stand that you can set up in it to get the high angle & Pa-Paw of course had himself the CR MOD 0 - MK1 so I'm the odd man out but the next day I snagged 1 up & ive never used anything else since then!

I'm going to wait till either the government finally approves the Heading Protection Act, or complete gunsmithing certification and get my Manufacturer License then I'll be gust one form from selling my new service weapons for the US Military and Civilians at reasonable prices. Any way, until then I'm building a long range comp gun and now I have to put this one in the running for my next Mrs. Ma Bell. Semper Fi 🇺🇸

    @austinwalker1831@austinwalker18316 жыл бұрын
    • No, I've had numerous blueprinted (by LongRifles, Inc.) Remington 700 Actions and they shoot just as well as a custom... However, by the time you pay 500.00 for the action and have a smith do 600.00 for the work, IMHO you just as well buy a 1000-1500, custom action that has higher quality tolerances and options initially.

    @KaiIngebrigtsen@KaiIngebrigtsen6 жыл бұрын
    • You don't need to modify the stock or cheek piece to remove the bolt on a SA rifle, only the LA's. However when you clean the bore, you do.

  • Any consideration of a Mil based T1H?

    @5RWill@5RWill6 жыл бұрын
    • Yes we've already spoken about it, hopefully soon!

      @ONEILLOPS@ONEILLOPS6 жыл бұрын
    • Great to hear! I was jumping for joy about the reticle and then realized it was MOA and was pretty bummed. Mainly because i have nothing but Mil optics and just don't like going back and forth. I'm glad to hear it, i hope USO listens man they need some updates along both circuits for reticles. That reticle in an LR-17 would be perfect for the TL3 hunt/comp hybrid i'm having done. Kind of a do it all switch barrel rig. So i wanted to ask because other than Alamo Precision this is the only other mention of Hardy barrels i've seen. Thus far they seem to be the real deal, as you all just proved with that great group. What i'm curious about is what made you go with Hardy over Proof?

      @5RWill@5RWill6 жыл бұрын
    • Come on, it's not that hard to run both units, Mils and MOA! It gives you something to think about! I agree though I hope USO works with us on the Mil version of this reticle. Reason we went with Hardy over Proof? Because Proof said they already have Coyote hunters they are working with...

      @ONEILLOPS@ONEILLOPS6 жыл бұрын
    • ONEILLOPS Not sure why Proof would choose to work with coyote hunters vs coyote killers.

      @x8541@x85416 жыл бұрын
    • Gotcha, i was wondering if it was based on better accuracy results out of hardy or something along those lines was all. I used to run both and then ran some dope for mils whilst using a leupold mark 4 M2 with 1/2 MOA turrets and had the most bizarre look on my face when 3 MOA in 5.56 with a 77gr SMK @ 2700 wasn't getting close at 450yds. Looked down, facepalmed, and realized i was dialing for Mils. Sold it and never looked back, it's been FFP Mil/Mil since. Of course there is a severe lack of Mil based Hunting reticles in the market place. The only one i can think of is the G2H, there are plenty that can be used of course, but i really love the simplistic nature of the T1H you designed.
