  • Hey people Welcome back!, I think i have told you about how some body shops and fixing big truck frame now days. I see you people are adding another frame. If you only add a ( I beam ) down the center of the old frame, No way it could ever break again!! >>>> How the I beam is made is what make it so strong!

    • Simply doubling chassis thickness dont increase the carrying capacity of the truck on its own. Think about the suspension. Axles and tyres. All need to be uprated. Yet they shove the same back underneath. They modify a back body of all steel construction. So the truck weighs its gross weight empty.... then fill up the back. Its no wonder they snap axles and springs. They have no idea.
